Tacologist Tacos-Tequila-Margaritas

Listen, I love this place. You definitely have to get the right thing (my go-to are the Mexico City Street Tacos and a Spicy Cilantro Margarita), because not everything I've had there is amazing. But overall, I like the food and the flavors.My one comment is that they need more servers. Half the time, the host is also a server, which can slow down service a bit. But overall, I recommend this place for sure!

Maybe I'm used to authentic Mexican... the flavor wasn't there. Waiting to place our drinks order, food order, waiting for the check was ridiculous we ended up getting up to find our server to ask for the check that's how long we waited. Our server mumbled the entire time he would talk to he's so honestly no idea what he was saying half the time and didn't feel like asking him to keep repeating himself multiple times. He kinda seemed annoyed to be there... We had about 5 chips left and he asked us if we wanted to try the queso , we said yes, after we got the check it was a $5 charge for the queso. not upset about the charge but the fact that he waited until we had little to no chips left to offer it, why not ask when you first bring the chips? He clearly seen we had little to no chips left, why not bring us more chips as well?... I wouldn't go back. It was a cute place though.

My office is right by this place, and i think that's going to be dangerous. One of the girls had taquitos earlier in the week, so come Friday, I wanted my own. I really don't think you can eat for $7 anywhere, but the taquitos on their appetizer menu cost that at lunch, and it was a nice sized portion with lots of shredded lettuce and tomatoes on top, so I was pretty content. Hot, fresh, crunchy, and a nice flavor on the chicken. Online ordering was easy, and my food was ready about 10 minutes after the pick up time on my order. Since I didn't have a far walk, it was still hot when I got to the office kitchen. The place was a little empty on a Friday at lunch, but I did go pretty quickly after they opened. I would like to go back and try the drinks and tacos. I think this will be a reliable lunch spot near UH main campus.

Came here last minute & so thankful we did! We had a really great time with awesome service! We ate fish tacos & the ajillo camerones. Both were delicious! But the margaritas were my favorite! They were made with lots of love! The atmosphere was welcoming & fun :)I would recommend!

Right across the hospital, amazing food- my go to are the vegetarian enchiladas which i sometimes just add chicken to. The flavor is AMAZING- it is on the saltier side but I love that and mixing the rice and lime together quickly mitigate that. I just ordered it because I have been craving it and boy did it hit the spot. Tons of yummy margaritas and a open area inside with high ceilings.

Place was really big and spacious. Unfortunately, there were only 2 people working which led to some delays the food, so it definitely took longer for it to come out. The tacos themselves were decent, but were nothing to go on about.

Came here for a work lunch outing and it was fun for what it is but I would not come back on my own. Food:-taste was good-presentation was nice-value of what's included is reasonable-guac was seasoned nicely-chips were giantOkay, but for lunch, you can't mix up tacos of different flavors. And the default only comes with two, not three!Service:-slow-not attentive-didn't offer boxes or extra napkins and had to askLocation:-paid parking lot behind-very tucked in and wouldn't have been able to find it had I not come with a coworker who knew where it was-the 8 of us sat at their only bigger table and it was a high top and super skinny

Came for the first time with a group and did not find the food particularly worthwhile for the cost. The presentation was unsavory and the best feature is it's accessibility to campus and capacity to seat large numbers. The portion size was small and I could've made the same quality of food at home in the same amount of time for less than half the menu price. The guac to chips ratio was also off (large chips, not enough guac). I'd venture out further to other restaurants if time and distance is not an issue.

Come for the margaritas! Wow, huge serving size that I wasn't anticipating . And they were dangerously delicious. The ambiance is very tastefully festive and I felt like I was coming to a party. I had the garlic shrimp tacos, which were decent. Our server was lovely. PSA, they have happy hour Mon-Sat with $4 margaritas and $5 apps!

Fun vibe got a table no problem! Good margaritas. Food was delicious! Close to Severance Hall.
