The menu has great options our server Anastasia our server along with the other staff were very professional. They have outdoor heated igloos for dinner that would be a nice touch on a romantic dinner. The vibe of the whole restaurant is upscale. Food was well prepared and seasoned perfectly.

This is a lovely restaurant with fantastic food and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the InterContinental Hotel or anywhere else near the Cleveland Clinic. It is not cheap - entrees range from high 20s to 50 or more. But the quality, inventiveness and attention to detail justify the price. I had a seared halibut entree which was done perfectly and probably the best halibut I've had. Caesar salad was very good and even the bread was top notch with a perfect crust and soft, warm middle. Service at the bar was excellent. Some reviewers have found the restaurant too brightly lit for an upscale dining experience. It could have been a bit more subdued, but it seemed normal at the bar. I think the restaurant is probably mindful of the large number of older customers who are patients or families of patients at the Clinic. For those of you who like a restaurant where you can see your food and hear your companions, it's a find!Again, some of the best food I've had in Cleveland!

We appreciate such a wonderful restaurant being right in the hotel. However, we left unimpressed with our dinner in the Winter Chalet menu line up. While I loved my scallop appetizer I had as a dinner item I did not like the kale salad. It was not prepared well at all. Shredded kale is hard to eat with a fork and does not lend itself to being a vessel for eating pomegranate seeds. The flavors blended well but were hard to eat. My husband had the Caesar salad and it was delicious. Yet, his appetizer of shrimp and calamari was awful. The calamari was sliced too thick and was therefore quite chewy. He ended up only eating the shrimp which was delicious. We paid our bill and made our way to the room and ordered room service. Next time we will definitely eat in the bar area of the restaurant, which was packed and should have been our cue to eat there instead. One bad meal will not stop us from dining here when come to the Intercontinental.

Our server was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were good but I would say the food is just average. I'd eat here again but would probably would try something other than the steak.

They keep it way too bright in the evening. It's like eating in the mall food court. The experience would be so much more elevated if they would just hit those dimmers! The food is...ok. Their shaved onions listed in the menu came out as 1/2 inch thick red onion. The servers were great. They just really have to turn down the lights!!

I had always wanted to eat here but was afraid it would be an overpriced disappointment. But with an upcoming anniversary paired with a pre-Jerry Seinfeld show, the time was right. It did not disappoint. Everywhere is pricey these days so I might be becoming immune to the cost of eating out, but it wasn't as bad as I feared. For the appetizers, salad, soup, entrees, drinks and dessert we spent about $160 plus the tip for the excellent server who was unfailingly upbeat and friendly. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Would love to go back someday.

Remember the context: a higher-end, dinner-only restaurant and well-stocked bar with creative cocktails and decent wines...in a hospital-connected hotel (InterContinental at Cleveland Clinic). To have this level of food available without having to leave the hospital campus (especially when you're from out-of-town) is a rarity. Many of the dishes have a slightly Indian flair, but they also offer several steak and seafood options. We ate here twice during our stay trying the seared scallop pasta, beef tenderloin, ricotta gnocchi, and mahi mahi -- all were fantastic. The bartenders were friendly -- in particular a young man behind the bar on 5/31 took the time to engage with us and explain some of the neighborhood's history and development. The only negative was the overly bright lighting, but we concluded its intent was to assist patrons including clinical staff reviewing information at the table. Table 45 is a gem, especially considering the alternative options for those visiting Cleveland Clinic.

We had a long day- so we ordered room service. Food came quickly and was hot. The Shrimp with risotto was delicious and a nice size portion. The steak was cooked to perfection.

The salmon was delicious. It was on a sweet potato purée and had a flavorful crumb crust. The soup and salad were very good also. We enjoyed our evening at Table 45. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
