We don't live in Erie but when we camp there, we always eat at Syd's. They have anything you'd like to eat!

Great place . Great food and really good cocktails! Always see families celebrating. Our service has always been excellent.

Terrible food dated decor poor service extremely unsatisfactory was excited to go there last year for my Birthday as we had eaten there in the past and was good but not this time never again

We were a party of 7 who enjoyed our dinners at Syd's on Wednesday. 3 of us chose the y-bone grilled pork chop. Tasty, well-prepared, and everything that came with it was good. Soup, salads, homemade salad dressings, great rolls, and sides were all very good. Our server was very attentive to some special needs.

Prime Rib on Friday night was best we have had since moving to Erie! Bravo Syd's. Service excellent as well!

Syd's place is a hidden gem. Great menu and delicious food. Highly recommend. Their staff is very nice and the interior is cozy. I would recommend the pasta dish with Alfredo, scallops and shrimp- 10/10

Made a special trip from Lake City on a Friday for their special prime rib. Absolutely the worst prime rib we ever had anywhere. No exaggeration. It was so tough I couldn't even swallow it. Very disappointing.

Syd's is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant!! John and his staff do a great job of working to satisfy their customers! If you go there be prepared to enjoy the local food fare but even better the friendly people!

Ordered perch dinner and it was so small that I doubt it was legallly caught. To top it off it was overcooked and chewy. I've heard great things about their perch so this may have been an off night.

We came to Syd's after our second day on a 5 day bicycle tour. We wanted to have a solid meal. Boy was it. The tossed salad was fresh and salad dressings are all home made and so delicious I wanted to dip my finger in the remaining dressing while waiting on my meatloaf I had the meatloaf Marsala which was rich and flavorful. The rice pilaf was also delicious...my buddy got Baked Cod and mashed potatoes... He said it was exquisite!
