SYB Party Center

Went for a wedding reception and the venue is really nice! Not too large, but decent. They provided the families with lots of decretive pieces for the tables so there was less to set up. Looked like they weren't too strict as too what was allowed and what wasn't (candles, lights, etc). Not sure if they provided the catering, but if they did then the food was good too!

Wow, what can one say when I've attended over 4 weddings all at the same place and have left with some weird flue & awful food ... Over the past two years, my boyfriends family has held over 4 wedding receptions at this party center and I wish they'd choose otherwise. Their wedding receptions have ranged in price which means that I have had food from the cheapest package to the most costly- either way I have no idea what they paid for. We have been served salads that were stacked on top of one another with the dressing already added. So that the bottom of each plate had nasty dressing smeared all over it. Lasagna with NO cheese or marinara , it was just noodles with unflavored ricotta cheese- kid you not. And cold buns with unrefrigerated, warm (and not warm in a good way) butter. The center itself is nice and always clean, also easily accessible and handicap friendly but other than the building itself I have nothing nice to say. Especially due to the last wedding receptions outcome. I got sick later that night, it started out with a sore throat and swollen glands, then escalated to excruciating pain were just walking to and from the bedroom to the bathroom left me in tears. I was exhausted, had diarrhea ever two days , lost my voice, an on & off fever and weight loss. I thought that since I work directly with the public that I had caught something at my place of employment but I was wrong. My boyfriends mom then everyone at my table except his father got this weird flue-like bug. Then we discovered that the entire wedding party and more than half their guest also came down with this illness. Idk, if the bride or groom called and complained but it says a lot to me that almost all of your guest and wedding party came down with the same thing...maybe the staff doesn't know the meaning of sanitation??? They sure don't know the meaning of good food :/

The bridal shower that I had here was great! Plenty of room to spread out and have separate areas for the gifts and food. Definitely recommend! Cheri was very attentive

I had my bridal shower here and it was wonderful! The staff was amazing and kind, venue was beautiful and very clean. They accommodated us with all of our needs. Definitely recommend SYB for parties and weddings!

SYB is a beautiful venue, the staff is very caring and always willing to do whatever it takes to make everything go smoothly! The food is delicious and everyone had a great time here!

When we came across this venue for our wedding we were so excited, it was right down the street from our house, the price was amazing compared to others and the venue looked beautiful. We set up a walk through and decided that day that this WAS our venue, paid the deposit and signed the contract. While the food was delicious that was about the only good thing about our experience here. After we had signed the contract they were super hard to get a hold of. When we went to set up the venue before our wedding, the table cloths were very wrinkled and when my aunt made a comment they said well there are going to be table runners on them anyway. The day of our wedding they didn't have all of the up lighting set up that we had paid for, 2 of the tables were without napkins, our name wasn't on the sign out front like we had requested, the sweetheart table wasn't moved for the ceremony like we had asked it to be, they didn't make the kids meals so we had to have the kids wait 15 minutes after the adults started eating, they never hired the security officer and they shut down the bar and told the DJ to play the last song an hour before the event was supposed to be over. Reason being that the girl running things that night was on vacation when we had our final meeting and clearly they didn't communicate nor did she familiarize herself with the details or our event. I had emailed them about my disappointment afterwards and they didn't even send a sincere apology in response.

Great Food and Service. Staff is always on top of things. Food is always hot and well prepared. Atmosphere is always upbeat and establishment is very well kept and clean! Prices are very fair if not cheap, its byob for weddings and other events which is a huge money savor! 5 Stars for a catering hall!
