Sweet Henrie's Ice Cream Parlor & Restaurant

If you want something like an old fashion home cooked meal go to Sweet Henries' & try their pot roast mashed potatoes & green beans. I so enjoyed this comfort food just like my grandmother used to make. We had a friendly enthusiastic waitress. Atmosphere is very lively & clean. We took our elderly friend with us who has a hearing aid & it was impossible to have a conversation inside with him. So we sat outside enjoyed the sunshine & mild fall temperature & enjoyed lunch & his company.

Came here for dessert and YUM! They have an extensive double-sided dessert menu. Our sundaes were delicious! HUGE portions. The ice cream was creamy and tasted great. They did a great job of creating sundaes with a good balance of toppings. The service was good too. Very attentive wait staff! We were thanked for eating at Sweet Henrie's. Looking forward to returning for a sundae! Side note: cash only.

Awful food. Dirty. Rude staff. Owner is a nightmare. I'm not sure how this place manages to stay in business other than it's clientele is mostly senior citizens whose sense of taste is not as sharp as it used to be.

Service was good, environment was good as well, but the food was okay at best, food was very greasy. We were told ice cream was good, but didn't get any after bad food. The water was unbearable, tasted like sewer water. The taste was in all of the drinks even the pop. The price is reasonable but not ideal for the quality of food and drinks.

Finally ate at the legendary Sweet Henrie's Good food, good atmosphere, friendly service. We got breakfast there they were good about refilling coffee. I got the chorizo scramble it was delicious. They also have good hash browns. I didn't have their ice cream but it seemed really good and they had a lot of options.

Always nice to support a locally owned business. It is nice to have home cooked style of meals. Service is always awesome!

Great experience. First time here. Menu had a wide variety. There were 7 of us, some had breakfast, burgers and sandwiches. Nothing was a disappointment. Everything was delicious! We saved room for dessert and again we're not disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable. Party of 7 with dessert was $114.

Had a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Very tasty and flavorful, came with chips. Onion rings were delicious. Save room for dessert, you'll want to have some ice cream treat. We shared a hot fudge sundae, very creamy ice cream. Service was fast and friendly. All set in a homey dining room.

My party of 5 had a nice first experience with Sweet Henrie's for brunch. The place was cozy. The food selection was ample and no complaints about portions, quality nor taste. The service was excellent. I enjoyed my meal and regret not having room for the ice cream. All the more reason for a return visit.

Fair style fries! Really great prices, portions and service. We will be back. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade.
