Sweet Designs Chocolatier

This chocolate was first sent to me by a relative. It is not at all local for me. I decided to visit the store when we went to see relatives in Cleveland, Ohio. I don't know what they call them, but the candies that are round with caramel, chocolate covered (I chose the dark chocolate) with pecans and almonds, something like a turtle, are the best ever!! I'm going to be ordering these by mail they're so good. They had some fancy chocolates painted by artists about $4.50 apiece. They're good, Some of the fillings might be a little grainy, but they are absolutely beautiful. They'd be perfect for a tea or wedding or baby shower. They have some adorable novelty chocolates too for adults and children. The ladies in the store couldn't have been nicer. The store is just lovely.

This is my go to chocolate shop - I make a 30 minute drive to pick up from Sweet Designs. Incredibly friendly staff who give you a free chocolate for everyone in your group with every order. Makes for a great gift. We purchased multiple gift boxes this holiday season for friends and family. They come beautifully wrapped and offer a great selection. Large variety of chocolates. Chocolates here are incredibly good. It can seem pricey but these are better than normal ones. Sweet Designs is a locally owned business so I rather go here than go to a grocery dry store and get something cheaper and less quality. Everything here is awesome so far. They have a few samples. Everything in this place is made here. It sure does taste like it. The chocolates aren't stale like how they are in lots of places. A few special chocolates are offered. It has many that are organic. There's many that are also vegan. It's good but not cheap. They're handcrafted here. It's 75 cents for a small piece of the vegan chocolate. The large bags can be about $10 or so. It has specialty items for holidays. It's not only chocolates, but there's stuff like popcorn. They can put together custom gift baskets for you.

Full disclosure, I was nearby, there was a rare occurrence of an open parking meter in front, and I really wanted a piece of chocolate. And I don't regret it because I think it was the best peanut butter cup I've ever had. The chocolate was thick and luxe and the peanut butter was the perfect creamy consistency.Sweet Designs has an absolutely huge selection of gifts, chocolates by the lb., wines and other chocolatey treats. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in her work, from every chocolate rivet to bow tying a bag. I bet Sweet Designs does incredible custom work, which they certainly promote well.Every case was well-stocked, perfectly organized, and intricately arranged. The staff run a tight ship here! I asked several questions about the truffles and they were ready with answers. Don't be discouraged if they seem too expensive. I purchased a handful of individual chocolates and the price was reasonable. I'll be back!

I was given a box of eight assorted chocolates. The box is beautiful and the candy is delicious. One of my favorite US chocolates. I chose the "Pablo Pistachio" and shared the rest. I don't live in Ohio but when I visit I plan to buy at least several of these to give as gifts.

My daughter and I discovered this hidden gem while looking for a vintage store. The beautiful lady behind the counter was very kind and patient while we looked at all the beautiful chocolates. She even gave my daughter a sample and when I opened our box in the car (because we couldn't wait) she surprised me with a sample. We will definitely come back when we visit Cleveland again.

Awesome service great fancy chocolates with a lot of flavor.I went in while at work delivering wine to get something for my wife. Very nice store, the lady made me feel very comfortable and answered my questions about the different chocolates in the display. I do recommend coming here and purchasing something.

Hands down the best chocolate. They're beautiful and special in a way I can't describe, and I've been eating chocolate every day for decades.Highly recommend, they will be your new favorite.

The chocolate is delicious, and I feel like it's a special treat. I recommend ordering online and doing curbside pickup. Online orders are ready VERY quickly. When I don't know what to get someone for Christmas or their birthday, I buy a box of chocolates from here. Loved by all. In my opinion, the local, quality product makes the gift seem more thoughtful and sophisticated than 'just a box of chocolates'. I plan on buying some truffles or painted chocolates the next time I host a girls night or high tea. It is quite the neighborhood gem.
