Sweet Basil Neapolitan Style Pizzeria

We've been coming here for years and always really enjoy it. We came recently on a Friday night and ordered 2 pizzas. They offered my kids balloons as well as pizza dough to play with. They also have a small arcade. When the games are my kids money, the owner tried to fix it and when we couldn't, he brought them ring pops instead. It was a kind gesture.Pizza was amazing as always. Kids loved cheese. My husband and I loved King's Mistress and gyro.

Finally, a great pizza west of Cleveland. For those new to my reviews, my wife and I recently moved here from Pittsburgh and are pizza snobs. If you read our reviews half are pizza related. After 4 months of searching, we found a clear winner. The crust was hand tossed and delicious. It was thin, but dense and chewy. The sauce was scrumptious. Fresh tomatoes were apparent adding sweet and balancing the slightly tart background taste. The cheese was as tasty as the rest. All-in-all it was a great pie. They sell it by the slice or up to an 18" pie. We sampled with a slice but immediately ordered a large pie to take home. My wife and I set a high bar when it comes to pizza and this place not only met our standards and surpassed them. The man who took our order and made our pie was talkative and such a pleasant guy, even though he was a Browns fan, lol. Anywho, why take my word? Go see for yourself. I'm sure you'll be hooked like we were from the very first bite.

Love the pizza here. They also have macaroni and cheese and salads. The pizza options are fun! We like the Chicken Ranch. Service is quick.

Came in to pick up a 2 pizzas and a side. $50!And I had to wait over 30 min Pat the stated pickup time. Oh and the pizza was not hot when I got it.

All I can say is Woooow!! Absolutely authentic. Aww man the homemade/ signature salad dressing is perfectly amazing. I can easily eat it with even pizza or any item on his menu. Thank you Dani your service was impressive especially conversation with you as your flipping the dough in the air preparing for a fresh pizza pie. Enjoy your trip to Florida safely.

Authentic New Haven CT Pizza. I am a New Haven CT native. We would always get pizza (Apizza, (ah-beets) from Pepe's or Sally's on Wooster St or Modern Apizza on State Street. All three set the standard for four generations in my family. A trip to Sweet Basil is like a trip home. The owner is a fine gentleman, and on my first visit there years ago, he was exceptionally patient with me as we both reminisced about New Haven, Pepe's and Bimontti's Pizza in Hamden (now closed). Whether you get the classic Frank Pepe tomato pie, a white pie or the veggie you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is always clean, service is great and they do a phenomenal take-away business. Just the best! I never understand why they don't make the top 10 in Cleveland. Enjoy.

Love Sweet Basil pizza! It's always so delicious and the ingredients are extremely fresh and of high quality. Everyone is friendly, warm and welcoming especially the owner, Dan! It's fun to watch the pizza dough being skillfully thrown in the air as they shape it.... it's a show in itself. Love their salads too! Everything is clean and the game room is fun for the kids. The only problem I have is trying to decide which ingredients to get on my pizza, they're all so good. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. Every single trip to Sweet Basil is outstanding and we're always looking forward to the next time.
