What's in the box?this one goes down in the "it's a rough job but someone has to do it" category. I wanted to give Suzin L. Chocolatier a shout out. ( although I am cheating on my friends at Fear's Chocolates) To adequately convey how good things are here, I had to try LOTS of items. My favorites were the milk chocolate-covered whole cashews. So large and so smooth. My son's favorites are the milk chocolate-covered cherries / cherry cordials. We also got the Milk Chocolate-covered Strawberries, Milk Chocolate Pretzel Bars, Salted Caramels and Milk Chocolate Non-Pariels. It was a milk-chocolate fest!! they have two locations - one in Elyria and one in Amherst. yum

Our absolute favorite place! We lived in Lorain County and moved to Arizona and we make sure we stop here every time we visit. The chocolate grapes are to die for!

There was a nice selection of chocolates. The truffles even came in dark, milk, and white chocolate. The dark truffles were delicious. I was shocked how long I could still taste the mint truffle after I ate it. They were not over powering and the filling was creamy. I also got chocolate covered strawberries. They came in milk chocolate. There was something about the milk chocolate that I did not care for. I would get them again if available in dark chocolate. The staff was very friendly.

I love supporting local businesses, especially ones that are near and dear to my hometown. Suzin L is your quintessential candy shop, full of midwestern charm and delicious treats. It may not look like much from the outside, but the friendly workers and handcrafted candies and chocolates are what really matter! Back in 2014, I had Suzin L make all of the table favors for my wedding. As I said earlier, I really love supporting local businesses and wanted memorable and meaningful favors for my wedding. Anyone can go on Google and order some cheap out of country crap. Suzin L delivered great customer service through the planning and ordering stage and went above and beyond to provide me with a wide variety of candy choices and sample boxes. I ended up choosing a beautiful flower box, personalized with our names and wedding date, and 4 chocolates of my choice. My husband loves Suzin's sea salt caramels, so we ended up choosing both the milk and dark. Our color scheme had a hint of pink, so I chose the raspberry truffles to accent the box with a pop of color. Suzin will help customize your favors, but the prices will fluctuate depending on your choice. I believe my favors ended up costing less than $5 a person and they were AWESOME! We received so many compliments on them and I have yet to attend a wedding that had a nicer favor (lol). Thanks, Suzin L!

Simply just the best chocolates I have ever had, for real. All those other places claiming to have the best chocolates? Don't believe them. My favorites at Suzin L's are the jellies (chocolate covered orange and raspberry varieties), the turtles (salty and sweet, a dangerous combo), and their chocolate covered strawberries (duh). I tend to repeatedly get the same things over and over again, but I am guessing that anything you can get would be equally delicious!

Stopped in today for a pound of assorted chocolate from the case. Had a craving for good chocolate, not grocery store bought. Looked a lil sparse on the shelves but I imagine they are working to get the Easter candy up. The girl behind the counter was pleasant and patient as I made my selections. The only issue I had was with a customer who had her baby in front of the glass candy counter in a car seat and 2 other unmasked little kids crawling around on the floor in front of the case and also up running around part of the time touching everything. Unfortunately, cant really control the customers but I love going to get chocolate on rare occasions and Suzin L's is minutes from my house and has great quality chocolates. I recommend if you get a sweet tooth or for a gift for someone else that has a sweet tooth.

SUSIN L. has the best milk chocolate I've ever tasted... and I am from Pittsburgh and thought Sarris was the best! I actually discovered this in the gift shop of University Hospital. I can't wait to visit the store!

Oh my gosh. This chocolate was wonderful. I'm on a search for the best chocolate store in Ohio/Michigan/Indiana. This place is ranking right on top.

The best chocolate by far anywhere in the US!! We have moved from the area and still have chocolate shipped completely across the United States to enjoy Suzin L Chocolates!! I found this place on accident while looking for some valentines goodies and was not disappointed! They have a huge selection at very reasonable prices. The chocolate covered strawberries were fresh and delicious!
