Sunny Slope Winery

Very friendly staff. There was an adorable Taylor Swift event that attracted the younger female crowd. Not quite what we expected at a winery but enjoyable to see the event. The weather cooperated and we were able to sit outside on one of the many picnic tables. There was a stage in the area so I suspect they must have an occasional band. They also had a food truck. Quite the find.

What a unique place! My wife and I sort of stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night in August. I say sort of stumbled upon it, because we did research wineries in the area ahead of time, but we didn't know anything about it until we pulled in. We were surprised to find a winery in a former old gas station on a state route in the middle of nowhere!There was an outdoor area, with tents covering the seating, and a food truck, but along with most people, we rushed inside because of the storm that night. I was pleasantly surprised! It was more of a rural bar feel, but definitely a focus on wine, instead of your run of the mill watering hole with beer and liquor. There was a sandwich deli inside also with dessserts.The wine was pretty good, not terribly memorable (but I am writing this nearly a year later), but what I do remember is how it felt to go in and hang out here. And I want to return! On the particular Saturday night we were there, there was a live rock band playing. The staff was really great to recommend food and drink and help us out, the other people in the place were a good/nice crowd, and the place was unlike any I'd been to.This is the type of place I'd want to take someone who likes wine and unique bars and say, you gotta see this place!

Wine is sooo good. They had 4 wine slushes when we were there They let you sample as many wines as you want - we sampled almost all ($.50 per sample) Our server was amazing. She said they release a wine called "Wicked Christmas" on Black Friday. They have some food as well. They give you pretzels that are salty and yummy!! There was a pizza food truck there too

My husband and I went here on a Saturday night! There was a live band, wine slushies, yummy cheesecake, and a good amount of seating inside and out. Also, a deli inside to order food. The place is unique in that it was previously a gas station. I didn't love the wines but there was some unique ones such as one with maple syrup!

Okay. Its an Ohio winery, not Napa. So, the wine was fruity and sweet. Easy to drink. The vibe was awesome. Outdoor tents, tables, and live music. Great for chill laxing. Good people and a food truck. All in, to return!

Great little find between Ashland and Millersburg. May be off the beaten bath but this place is worth the venture out.

If you are visiting Mohican State Park this is a great place to stop for a few drinks and even a bite to eat at their deli.Prices are great for wine tastings and food. My date and I got paninis for 5 bucks each. For $8 you can pair them with a soda and chips or a cookie. We ended up trying all of the wines we could. They also had some slushies and other drinks that were pretty tasty.Be warned, they mostly specialize in sweeter wines, so if you're a connoisseur looking for some deep and rich merlots and cabernet sauvignon, you will likely not be impressed. But if you want some tasty alcoholic juice, this place definitely hits the mark. Live music was available while we were there, but it was inside instead of at their outdoor stage. That was a little disappointing, but we enjoyed our food and drinks on a chilly night outside anyway.We ended up leaving with a case of delicious, albeit sweet, wine that we've only finished half of as of yet. We're working on it.

Love this little winery!! They have the BEST fruit wines in Ohio by far!!!! Love their panini sandwiches and food trucks!! The owners treat their customers like family. They always have entertainment on the weekends! This place is a little gem in Holmes County! Wish I lived closer!
