Sundays Plus Delicatessen

We were starving after a morning of apple picking & this place popped up as the closest to get grub. Love it when fate is kind. Sunday afternoon & the parking lot is packed (good sign). There's a menu board with about a dozen sandwiches and "make your own" option. We ordered a Cold Italian, Sweet and Sharp Chicken & Reuben with a side of Mac n cheese. All 3 of us uttered "wow that's a good sandwich" after our first bite. The mac n cheese is homemade I think with white cheddar. They have a fun variety of pop along with all the usual kinds. We got some VooDoo chips which were like a sweet onion taste. The guy that rings you up is endearingly annoying as he cracks a couple jokes & tells the kids to carry the bags because mom paid. First time here but we'll be back!

Best hidden Gem for a sandwich with the fresh ingredients!! Just moved to the area and can't believe how good the food is here!! Great hidden Deli with great options and good food.

This place came recommended by a friend that lives in the area. I am sure glad she did because I don't think I would have stopped.We stopped to pick up a sandwich for lunch and were so surprised by the variety of offerings here. Not only cane you get numerous sandwiches made to go (or eat at the few tables they have) you can get deli meats, numerous salads, ice cream, wine, beer and other drinks, plus many other items. I ordered a sweet 'n sharp sandwich, which was rotisserie style chicken with lettuce, honey mustard dressing, cheddar cheese and Mayo. It is served on either a hoagie bun, or wheat bread I got the bread and it was so fresh it was wonderful. All the ingredients were plentiful and the sandwich was super tasty. While waiting for it to be made, I saw a bottle of wine that we often drink, and was able to pick that up at a reasonable price. I like one stop shopping! We are only in town for a few more days, but we may have to make our way back there for another sandwich.

Atmosphere - Great! The outside is not so impressive. However the inside is very nice. Although Sundays considers itself to be a deli, there is much more to the place. The inside is bright and clean. The deli counter offers a nice selection of quality meats and cheese. There are baked goods, wine, pre-prepared macaroni and potato salads, and many other items for sale, including a walk-in beer refrigerator. Food - Excellent. There is a very nice selection of sandwiches and on the menu and everything is fresh, including the bread. I had a BLT and it was amazing! First of all, the Texas Toast was large and toasted perfectly. The tomato and lettuce were fresh as well. The star of the sandwich, of course, was the bacon and it shined. It was piled high and cooked to perfection. Service - Excellent. The people preparing the sandwiches were very nice and service was timely. Overall Value - Excellent! I would have been content to pay twice as much as the price charged for my sandwich. I am extremely sad that I do not live near Sundays.

Cold Italian - Spicy and Texas Potato Salad are amazing. Deli meats are sliced are fresh-sliced for your sandwiches while you wait. Great snack and soda selection. Great local place!

Bob and his Son are great people, well unless you can't take a joke and your feelings are easily hurt like most of this new generation. The only 2 bad reviews on here are by snowflakes lol. Anyways, I only mention it because I think it's total BS and just completely wrong to try and take a shot at a non corporate business just because you have such fragile feelings. If you're soft, go to Subway because this isn't corporate! These are two family guys feeding their families while doing what they love and laughing andJoking with their customers. I love the small town feel I get when I walk in here and it's definitely nice to see that real people still exist in this world outside of the robots programmed by the media. Anyways...this place has the most amazing subs I've ever found anywhere. They truly beat out all the sub shops for me, even Dibella's and that's saying a lot because Dibella's is very good. "Sunday's" beats everybody for quality, taste, and authenticity while being very unique with their subs. This place is epic! If you're not easily offended and can make it to the back of the store without breaking into tears, then you too will be able to experience the best subs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sundays boasts a nice deli, that carries "Walnut Creek" deli meats & cheeses, among other brands. SUNDAYS will prepare freshly made sandwiches, while you wait!Choose from a variety! You'll find a vast variety of condiments, not to mention that they also carry Productos El Coqui sofrito & Scotti Compana's delicious pasta sauces and other, delicious sauces!!
