Sub City

Terrible Italian substandard sub sandwich. I paid $33 for 3 extremely poor lunch for my staff. All of the little bit of meat was chopped into tiny pieces. Small amount of congealed cheese. No care into putting this sandwich together. My first and last visit. I called the store after receiving this meal asking to speak to manager. Girl I spoke with said no managers or supervisor only owner and they seldom came to the store and she could not give out their name or number. This situation explains why the food was so bad.Dr. S Walls

I'm a Door dash driver. Went over there today around 3:00 and was totally ignored. Horrible!!!!!!!!

There were a bunch of food trucks outside the office today and I needed to get lunch, so I stopped by Subcity. The worker explained the menu and the second I heard, "rice bowl", my mind was made up. So I got a rice bowl with chicken. A few minutes later, he handed me the dish along with a fork and some napkins.The chicken was deliciously seasoned as was the rice. There was a tasty sauce on the dish along with some shredded cheese, grilled peppers, and onions. I'd definitely order this again. I would like to try their rolls too! Hopefully, they'll be back next week.

Deliciously greasy and not terribly priced late night food ideal for the half drunk or more crowd. I showed up at 10:15 and they close at 11. They are strict about seeing an ID when you pay with card. Walk in orders only at that time- no call-ahead. The Clevelander was a large soft roll sandwich with corned beef, lots of melty cheese, and a hamburger patty with a side of hot fries. Not great but good for limited options at this hour and definitely not bad at all! Props to the very busy but super respectful and friendly cashier with beautiful long rows and eyelashes- you are a hard worker, girl! Props.

Chicken Philly was very good. A bit smaller than I would've liked for the price but I still recommend. I called ahead and my food was ready on time and was still hot.

Worst customer service. Have ordered 5 times on Door Dash hoping that each new time the service would be better. The food ALWAYS is over 30 minutes late at minimum. I am really trying to support black-owned businesses, but honestly the lack of professionalism and customer service is the reason I will not order from this establishment again.

The second time I had there sub City classic and bbq wings and a polish boy each time they had a friendly staff food was fresh and cooked well and on point!!

Overall filling. Great customer service.Call service to tell you your order is ready.Plenty of items to select from.Clean location.Nothing to complain about. I ordered from the Maple Hts location

From years of ordering from this establishment I have never had any issues until recently. Two instances where I placed an order via online (twice). The first online order gave an estimated time for pick up, roughly 25-30 minutes. Got there 45 mins and still had to wait an extra hour because it was not ready. Second order, estimates 25 mins. Now 2 minutes after I place the online order, one of the workers call to advise they are a little backed up an my wait time/pick up time turned into an hour and a half. I canceled the order with her on the phone ,due to the wair time was too long and I needed to get my child home for bed. Now they (the worker and mgmt) advised the order would be canceled and I would be refunded.2 weeks later no refund. Called again and explained the issue, per a different manager, by which was Very unprofessional, rude, and clearly has not taken any management courses a day in her life, needed to call another manager and call me back. 4 days later, no call back, no refund. Now when people complain about there isn't enough support businesses in the community..... well #1 example why. Those establishments in the community, such as this one, are not For the COMMUNITY. I would never recommend anyone to neither locations. It takes nothing to give respect, especially to those trying to support your business.

The food that we got was good, that's what makes this sad. We got home with our order and realized one sandwich was missing, and one was a turkey sub but we didn't order that. We called and explained the situation, and over the phone they said come on back. We got there and they didn't seem to remember the phone call. Then the cook started yelling at me about the Italian sandwich- we were showing her that it was a turkey sandwich, but we didn't order that. We gave it to them to show them. She said we should've brought it all back and she didn't trust us. After being yelled at and trying to explain the situation, and having other workers take the cook to the back to calm down we left with no resolve. Paid $98 and got 4 sandwiches even though our order was for 6, and to boot we tipped. I'm throughly disappointed! I wish there had been a better way to solve the issue.
