Stowaway Pub

Stowaway is a great little townie secret. It is not large, and the interior is exactly what you would expect in a small town bar, but the overall atmosphere, service, and food is what keeps people coming back.To start, they serve food LATE, which many bars don't do in the area. And the food is always fresh and consistent! Their stowaway fries consist of either fresh cut or steak fries covered in garlic butter and Parmesan and served on a decent sized pan. They are addictive! Obviously not the healthiest option, but they will keep you coming back for more!Their burgers use good quality ground beef and are large enough to satisfy even the most voracious of appetites. The bartenders are all very nice and love good conversation. Drinks are all reasonably priced, and the pours are fair.Overall it is a great little spot with a very homey feel. Would recommend.

Ordered take out last night. They said 30-40 minutes. So we went up about 25 minutes after the call. Brought food home it was horrible. The burgers were spongy. Not fresh beef at all, the fries were all overcooked and gross. We have eaten here many times. Hopefully this was just a fluke. Otherwise they should just stick to serving beers

Great local low key dive bar. Friendly locals, great quick service, decent food. Clean and comfy

Definitely a nice quiet dark dive bar. Table was a little sticky. Waitress was sincerely kind and friendly. They were out of wings the night we came, on a Wednesday. Had a burger instead. The hamburger bun was grilled nicely and everything tasted really good. Good music and friendly patrons. You get the feeling that the bar is a little understaffed. Like everything else these days. But it's not having items on the menu is not acceptable to me. Especially wings. I know they're hard to get and they're expensive. But you are charging more than $15 for a dozen. You should have them. I'm giving four stars because the Lady bartender was very kind and the food was pretty good. Husbands "specialty" fries were a bit on the greasy side.

Great little bar in Stow. Very welcoming staff who will go the extra mile to take care of you. Try the wing special on Sunday and the great fresh cut fries. This is one of the few places around that isn't charging $14-$15 for a dozen wings and their sauces are good. Giant mugs of their craft or domestic beer selection really hit the spot when it's blistering hot outside.

Our family went here for the fish fry. Food was fantastic. Service was a tad slow though. Only 2 employees serving and managing the bar. Was frustrating trying to get our server attention to get more drinks etc.

I think I'm at about a 3.5. They redid the place, not quite as dive bar anymore, but still a little bit. Definitely townie type patrons.The biggest problem I have is it seems like they're always understaffed. The servers have always done fine, but just in over their heads. $1.50 Wed night sliders are high quality meat, with a perfect toasted bun. It's a really good deal. The burgers are also really good. They use meat from Kirbie's.My first visit for the fish fry on Friday was some of the best fish I've ever had. Super flaky white mild cod with tasty light breading. But I went back a couple weeks later and the fish was completely different. It was heavily breaded. I took my parent specifically because I know they don't like a lot of breading and it was like I was at a different restaurant. Kind of a weird inconsistency. It's $9.99 for 3 huge pieces or $12.99 for all you can eat. Comes with fries and coleslaw. The $1 tacos weren't quite as good as their slider special, but still not a bad deal. Just basic tacos like you'd make at home.

Nice server but food is NOT good ! Burger was very poor quality and the bun was clearly stale. The bottom was toasted but top was cold and wet, like it had been defrosted.

This pub is a great local find! Not to big and not to small. My son and I went for the 1st time on St. Patrick's day. The staff was friendly, the menu was just good, the food was great! It looked to be busy with local residents. If you're looking for somewhere to eat with good food, quaint pub atmosphere , friendly staff, and a menu that won't break the bank... well, then I highly recommend you come to Stowaway Pub in Stow, Ohio. I know we sure will be back! Thank you to all the staff that day for being great and doing great!! We appreciated you all that day!

There was only one waitress. She also had to cook all the food. Once our order did come out it was burnt.
