Sportsman's Paradise

I'm done! Worst experience yet! Took my family there over labor day weekend. They were busy, and had 2 waitresses for the dining room and the dining room on the bar side. I know it's hard to get help, so WHY NOT SHUT 1 dining room down or don't fill all the tables when you only have 2 waitresses. Let people wait for a table so that seated guests can have good service. Took forever to get a.menu and our drinks. 45 minutes to get our appetizers. Given no plates for party of 6. Ate our appetizers on napkins because server never checked on us. Not her fault by this time the place was very busy also a large party came in. We didn't see our server to ask for plates and by this time refills on our drinks (which we never did get). Again, took forever to get our food my grandson and I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were so dry we could barely eat them. I brought mine home for our dog. I waited to see our server to order something else but couldn't see her anywhere. Went to an older woman bussing tables and she said she couldn't help me because she wasn't really working. I don't know what that meant, maybe not on the clock. Grandson just started eating his because by this time he was famished. Had to go up to bar to get our check. I complained and they took $2 off of our bill! And took another 10 minutes to print the new bill. I still tipped 20%because it wasn't the0 servers fault. I really hope owners compensate servers for lost tips because everyone is not like me and tip well for bad service. I'm sure they were affected! This is an owner/management problem. We also spent a small fortune on games for the kids to occupy all the time we spent waiting. LET PPL WAIT FOR TABLE If they want to eat there so bad!!!!!!! I may get a fish sandwich to go maybe once in a while. The fish is very good!

Love this place! Great friendly people and the best wings South of Buffalo. This is a friendly local restaurant/bar with a great small town feel. The food is delicious and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Perfect setting for a private date or large get together.

Steak hoagies were good. Fresh cut fries and wing were very good also. Good service and great pricing. Will return.

This place reminds me of the old days! They've been in business for years and they've got some great dishes! People are always nice here as well! Not sure if they still do wing night, but their wings were excellent as well....I believe it used to be in Wednesday nights! Great place to stop on if your up in the Forest!

Came here one night as we were passing through. They had plenty of cold beer, hot food, a loud jukebox, pool tables, and other games. We really enjoyed ourselves. We split an appetizer sampler then got sandwiches. Food was better than we expected. My wife got the Reuben and enjoyed it. I had the BBQ burger. If we are passing through again, we will be sure to stop.

Bravo for Abbey and Mark taking over. We wish them the best of everything in their new adventure.

I come here once every five years on vacation. This place just never, ever changes. That's good. Kind of walking into an old museum with all the taxidermy on the walls. Some would call it weird, but not the locals.Food is generous and decent.

Great tasting very large wings. Great service. Nice people. Pleasant atmosphere. A dining area available that is separate from bar area if you prefer it.

I've had a cabin in this area for 25.5 years and I've got to say this place keeps getting better!! Hats off to Mark and Abby for killing it! Hubby had wings, neighbor had loaded fries and GC, kiddos had pretzel sticks and a app platter everything was outstanding... pics attached but some are 1/2 consumed lol Susie the Bartender/waitress has been wonderful! Every Restaurant needs a Susie!!!!

Absolutely the worse place ever! Took my step dad and my husband in after a day of long work. Shut my step dad off for saying take me home and put me to bed after one beer. He was tired and kidding...yes had a few beers..waitress went upon her herself to get involved and shut him off... got thrown out...however I was driving...the guy sleeping at the end of the bar was still being served and drove homeWTF???? Bartender and waitress cook whatever she was sucks Megan you rock!
