South Side 6

3rd time coming in! Never disappointed! They are friendly and fast! The Baklava is DELICIOUS! The place has the vibe of a corner store with beer,wine, snacks etc, and a to go restaurant! The cooking area seems to be maintained and quite clean!

A great little gem serving up some huge portions! The gyro is massive, grape leaves are yummy, and the fish and fries-massive!

The staff was very friendly & helped me decide what to order based on their menu. They even made me a sample of fried rice, my fave w/ fresh veggies & to round out the menu items! And it was all very delicious!!!!! Price was fair, drinks were Coke NOT Pepsi (blah!) I love SS6's food & i highly recommend them! In fact, I think I will go there for lunch tomorrow (Monday).

I stopped at South Side 6 in BG today, and honestly think I had the best falafel I've had to date. I got the super falafel which was this monstrous sandwich pictured here! It was loaded with tabouli, falafel, and hummus! I couldn't eat it all! Although, it doesn't look like much from the outside and it's a convenience store atmosphere inside I would not sleep on the delicious food or fast and friendly service!

Having moved to bg from new mexico, I haven't had as much exposure to middle eastern food as people in this area. South side 6 is one of my favorite spots now. They've got great quality food, and you get a ton for the price.The meat has always been good cuts, not chewy or fatty, and cooked well. The Greek fries are next level. Hummus is on oar with what I've had from most restaurants, I'd say. I've tried a couple dishes now, but have only had the food delivered, so I can't comment on service or atmosphere.What I can say is food is typically prepped quickly, and I haven't had any errors in my orders.Highly recommend ss6 if you're looking for a good, filling meal.

South Side 6 has been one of my favorite places to get food here in town since college and nearly 10 years later it's still one of my favorites. Their gyros, pita chips, hummus, baklava, fries, and so much more are all very good and incredibly affordable. it also helps that the people there are always super nice as well!

Great middle Eastern and American takeout with a big wine, soda/pop and beer selection. Always greeted upon entering, food made on the spot at reasonable prices. Widely known for their shawarma gyros (yes, they have a rotating beef spit), they also sell fresh hummus and pitas. Only place to sit down is outside at the picnic table but this is not a sit down restaurant.

All I can say is wow! If you are in Bowling Green, you have to stop in to South Side 6 and get a gyro. These things are monstrous and taste amazing. Lots of meat, onions, lettuce, tomato and sauce. I could only eat half and I have a big appetite. Definitely a must try. There is no where to eat inside here though so keep that in mind. Carryout only.

I heard about them from the local news article written that the original owners are back and I would highly recommend. It was hands down the best food that I have had in Bowling Green! The staff was super friendly as well! I love the feel of the store and will definitely be back

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Went in and spent $60 on 6 Gyros . Got home, and theres barely 3 sandwiches. Called and asked to talk to the owner, and he told me it's none of my business if he was the owner then blicked my number .We have been going there for years and drive 25mins each way. I will not go back horrible service.Im contacting BBB
