Stopped in for lunch and it was great! We'd never been here or heard of it before, but we'll be going again for sure! We had the garlic bread appetizer, calzone, and cheese raviolis and it was really good! I don't remember our waitresses name, but she was very nice and quick!

This restaurant has always been one of our favorite local Italian places. We love their tomato sauce, garlic bread, lemon, cello, ravioli, and so much more. Feel pretty comfortable going here and getting a great meal. They also have a very affordable lunch. My go to typically is the chicken Parmesan.

Finally, a pizza place in Northeastern Ohio that's worthy of praise. My wife and I recently moved to the area and are pizza snobs. We have tried many pizzas in the area and all were below the bar. The crust got better as I neared the edge. It also had a crispiness every other pizza up here lacked. The sauce was tart but had a slight sweetness that lent balance to the slice. They didn't skimp on the cheese which was chewy goodness. All in all, I think we found our pizza go-to place. Their Italian food menu looked mouthwateringly good, so we will be back for some of that, too. But their pizza is the best we've found so far. Follow me for more updates.

We come to Sorrento often as it's local for us. We've had good experiences here in the past. Tonight was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant ever. Their posted closing time is 9:00pm. We walked in the door at 8:19 and were met by the manager, a middle aged woman, in the foyer. My girlfriend is a district manger for a restaurant chain so we are very cognizant of the workers. I asked the manager if we were good for dinner out of courtesy to let her know that we were aware of the time and that we wouldn't be loitering after dinner. The expected response was "Yeah. You're good. We still have 40 minutes" or something to that effect. What we got was "We close at 9" while staring daggers at us. We walked in and looked at each other like "What was that?" The manager followed us in and since she didn't answer the question I asked again. Same look and she said "We close at 9. Just so you know" hen walked away without even entertaining a response." It was very clear that we weren't welcome there and we both took her response to mean we would have to be out at 9 pm regardless. Even if that's how she felt, a little customer service in explaining it would have gone a long way. The hostess was sweet and greeted us but it was clear we weren't welcome by management. We walked out and found that the doors were now locked 40 minutes before they close. Look, if we walked in at 8:50 with a sense of entitlement and ordered dinner, I get it. Truly. This was 40 minutes before closing time. We would have been done with dinner by 9. The absolute disrespect and dismissal by this manager was unbelievable. If you don't want people coming in between 8 and 9 make your hours until 8 and let folks who are there enjoy their meal. We will never be back. I would rather drive for a half hour than to be treated like this again. It's a shame too. We really enjoyed Sorrento

I had heard about this place via a coworker and he raved about the food. So naturally I had to try it for myself! I spontaneously decided to take a drive - a long one - from the eastside all the way out to Lorain County! The restaurant is tucked away right off a main thoroughfare and sits adjacent to a strip mall. Upon walking inside I was greeted by an attentive hostess but opted to sit at the bar. The place seemed moderately busy, with perhaps 7 tables seated and 3-4 patrons seated at the bar. The interior is dimly lit with an subtle ambiance that flows seamlessly within. The lovely bartender asked me what I wanted and since I couldn't have her I decided on a plate of spaghetti marinara with mushrooms.The menu has a multitude of options which includes pizza, chicken, steaks, seafood, soups, salads, pastas, and a plentiful beer and wine menu. Complentary bread was brought out as was a wonderful side salad of romaine and iceburg with house dressing. The spaghetti was fantastic thanks to a perfectly seasoned sauce that was bursting with flavor. Unlike the current status of the world, Sorrentos did not disappoint!

I stopped in here while in the area for business and was hoping to have a great meal as I always look forward to local cuisines over chain food. However I was not impressed. I gave this rating because I really enjoyed the outdoor screened patio seating, the overall atmosphere, and my cheese stick appetizers were good. My waitress was also very kind and attentive. Unfortunately my main meal and drinks were lacking. Upon receiving my mixed drink it was very heavy on the grenadine and was over bearing. Upon receiving my meal I was disappointed by the overall look. Chicken looked to have just been tossed on there haphazardly but I brushed it off as maybe they were in a hurry but no it lacked any taste and was relatively bland. I really wish it had tasted better as pasta is one of my favorite dishes. I'm not so sure I'd ever go back if back in the area.

It's not outstanding, but it's not bad either! The atmosphere was nice. I ordered an antipasto salad. I have never had it before and I didn't like it. So, in all fairness, maybe it was just the way it was supposed to be with slices of lunch meat but I'm not a fan! My friend had the shrimp Alfredo and said it was good. The service from the waitress was ok. I'm thinking maybe his was new as his kept forgetting things we asked her for ex drink refills the check.

We've eaten at Sorrento's .multiple times and have been very pleased with the foot. Also carryout in the past has been fine. This last ueadsaywe had carryout 1 chicken oatmeal ,1kasagna ,1 rigatoni and meatballs all with marinara sauce. Ot a good meal. The chicken and meatballs were great last perfectly cooked. The sauce was as to il way too sweet. I noticed big and I doean big chunks of onion which probably contributed to the sweetness. . I like ions but not like this Made the meal almost inedible if you changed the recipe please go back
