Soho Chicken + Whiskey

We have gone here on multiple occasions with groups for celebrations and get togethers. Over the years, it is one of our favorite spots. It's moody and candlelit, romantic, but has a close dinner party feel. Wonderful whiskey and cocktails. The apps are to die for, and you get served a large portioned meal with really good quality protein. All the sides and flavors really go well together in every dish I've had. It is also consistently good every time we go here! Waitstaff is friendly and really can recommend great menu options. It is always busy! We recommend you make a reservation or you'll for sure have to wait! :)We saw that the lease for the current location is possibly being turned over to a Chipotle next year in a Cleveland news outlet. This is so disheartening and saddening. We definitely need to stop by a few more times to show our support!! This location is a staple and the space is really nice. Hoping that the landlord rethinks this to help out a family business that is seriously talented and has an amazing food scene and gathering atmosphere. They do have gluten free batter fyi!

Fantastic spot for a southern breakfast! The inside was cute and a little on the smaller side so make sure you have a reservation. The food was great and the service was prompt.

This is a fantastic spot with really good food, good service, and a welcoming ambiance. It's an excellent choice for a date or a small group outing. The fried chicken sandwich is a must-try--the chicken is tender and absolutely delicious. It's also a great place for brunch, offering a cozy vibe and satisfying dishes. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxed and enjoyable meal!

Soho is a solid weekend brunch option. The service was friendly and we enjoyed the food. I got the steak and eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The biscuits and jam that they give to each table are also a treat. We had one small issue with the hash tasting a bit charred, enough to where it was interfering with the rest of the meal and they had the kitchen remake it without an issue. It's been awhile since I've visited at dinner time, but their dinner options are worth trying as well.

Delicious!!! Came here after a recommendation and the food was amazing, service was excellent and the food came out quickly. There's a reason why it's been a top establishment for all these years - they're consistent. I will be coming back and recommending this place to others!On Wednesdays you can order a La carte, instead of getting their whole dish that has already been pre-selected.

Food was amazing and The Customer Service was everything. I found the restaurant via Yelp and i don't regret a moment. I was just so pleasantly surprised coming fromMiami. The vibe was there and the flavors were there too. The customers were so friendly. I wanted to go back the next day if i didn't have an early flight. Definitely going back.

Soho is consistently awesome! My only complaint is that it's always hard to decide what to order because there are so many great dishes to choose from. :)Some of my favorites include the fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, pimento cheese, and chicken + waffles. It's a great spot for a date or a group of friends. Cute and cozy inside (but a little bit too dark, which makes it challenging to read the menu - or to take really good photos lol.)

I am probably the only person that goes to a chicken and waffle House and orders steak. We went on a recommendation of the bed & breakfast we were staying at. It was a short walk from where we were staying. The area was very busy and street parking was available but with Jeff's big Ford Tremor it was very tight. So we parked and walked. It was 8:39 on Saturday night and we had made reservations earlier. The restaurant closes at 9:00pm because it's more of a bunch, lunch, and an early dinner place. It's a small space, and we were seated at a table for two by the window so people watching was our dinner entertainment since the atmosphere was loud and chatty we couldn't really hold a conversation unless we yelled. Battery operated candles on the tables, dim lighting and the place smelled good. So many of the items offered fried I thought you might smell the fryer but I couldn't. $40.00 for a bottle of red wine eeks but wanted so I got it. Jeff had an old fashioned. I found it strange when the waitress took the order she didn't ask what type of bourbon he wanted in his old fashioned. Thankfully Jeff likes wild turkey so the old fashioned was a success; Jeff had a chicken breast sandwich with fries, said it was delicious.I was pleasantly surprised by the steak. Cooked perfect, sitting in a bed of mashed potatoes and a delicious cauliflower dressing! I was impressed with the flavors for a chicken place. The side kicker of Gouda Mac and cheese is also yummy.The bill with drinks was $156.00 before tip.

Food was great! Biscuits are so good with the homemade jelly. Service was great and we got our food quick. Ambiance is a low key vibe and nice for a family or date. I will definitely return.

This is my second time here. The first amazing experience was no fluke. This is now my favorite place and go-to for visiting guests. We started with deviled eggs. Omg-so perfect. They even have a to-go container designed for eggs! We then shared the breakfast burrito (brunch) with a fried chicken breast. The fry is so perfect and not greasy and the chicken is moist. Chef's kiss. We ended with the beignets. The caramel sauce is not a sweet, sticky goo but so soft and FLAVORFUL. The fresh whipped cream -delightful. Oh I forgot about the biscuits and homemade apple berry sauce. Such flavor and not sugar loaded. The coffee is served super hot and not acidic
