There is nothing I love more than finding a great local food spot hidden amongst the fast food hell scape that you typically find at an interstate exit.This gem in a little more than a mile off I90 in Avon and it was amazing.Food was fresh, fast and delicious. I got gyro over hummus and it was a great dish. Also got a side of hummus. Made a great road snack Will be back

We dove into their Party Plate - a feast fit for royalty, featuring a scrumptious combo of 1/2 chicken and 1/2 Beef Shawarma that could easily feed a squad of 14 to 16 hungry souls! We were so excited that we placed our order a dazzling 3 hours in advance, and the lovely lady on the phone was an absolute gem, guiding us through the menu with flair.Stepping into the restaurant, we discovered that this gem mainly caters to take-out and delivery aficionados - no wonder it was spick and span inside! Our order was waiting for us, packed and ready to go in a jiffy - talk about service with a smile! Back at home, as we unveiled the treasure trove on our platter, our eyes widened with delight - a culinary masterpiece awaited us! The presentation was top-notch, and the aroma was simply tantalizing. With seven hungry mouths to feed (we might have room for a few more, shh ), there was an abundance of delectable goodness to go around.So, if you're pondering a flavor adventure and feeling a bit hesitant about Mediterranean cuisine, fret not! Small two table dining, mostly for carry out. The service was super friendly. The food was good but the chicken was a bit over done , I assume if I went at a busy time the chicken would be better. The rice was good but also a bit dry. I liked it enough to try again. It is worth a try.

Decent but bland food which took far too long to prepare. Price point is high for what you get -- several better options on the area.

Very disappointed with this last visit. The onions and tomatoes were sliced and cooked with the beef. Felt more like a fajita wrap than a shawarma. No tahini or sumac and the parsley was just placed in there with its stem. The bread wasn't the same. I'm not sure why they changed the way they made them originally.

Very very tasty. Sauce needed a little bit more flavor. 4/5 stars! I've had it three times already & plan to continue!

Just went to the new Mediterranean restaurant in Avon Commons next to Master Pizza: Simsim Mediterranean Grill. I've been very eager for this to open and they didn't disappoint! Very clean, courteous staff and delicious food! It was quite busy and everyone was patient while the kitchen staff was working hard to get orders out. Definitely a few "new restaurant" things to work out, but that comes with a bit of time. This is exactly what we need more of--family-owned restaurant that isn't a chain and not chicken/burger/pizza. Give it a try! No, I don't know the owner or staff--just someone excited to see some variety in our food options.

Ate SimSim almost daily for weeks until they apparently shut down due to staffing issues? Been unavailable for any type of order (pickup/delivery) now for a few weeks which is incredibly disappointing. Not quite sure what roles they're struggling so much to fill given the natutre of their business, but seems odd that they can't find a few people to cook, prep and assemble some rice bowls?Please get your stuff together and reopen so I can go back to enjoying my chicken shawarma bowls for lunch every day.
