Simply Greek

The food is wonderful easily exceeding my expectations for good Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the Classic gyro and it is the largest I've ever eaten. I'm shocked there's an option to add more meat. The food came really fast although the lean staff is busy completing to go orders. Simply Greek has a very small dining area which offers a picturesque tour of Greece. We decided to eat onsite and had a great conversation about visits to Greece and food. Highlights for me!

Delicious food, best Gyro and nice people! We will visit often! All menu items look amazing, and it's a very nice small restaurant.

The owner is almost always behind the counter and you are greeted in a familiar, he knows you kind of vibe. They were open during the lockdown and I really respect how he cared about his employees (because that matters just as much as the food). When people are happy to work, the food is prepared with love and you can taste it. Now to food...try the Aegean...thank me later. I also pick up their Junior cheeseburger for my children and the baklava is the owners' grandma's recipe. It's the truth!

We drove about 15 minutes to get here because of the reviews we read on Yelp. We were not disappointed in the quality of food, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the service from the owner (Pete) and his son (Nick). Based on Pete's recommendation, we ordered a cheddar cheeseburger with grilled marinated onions and grilled mushrooms. Additionally, we ordered a classic gyro and beer battered onion rings. All of the food was excellent. The meat on the gyro was not the least bit greasy like some Greek restaurants, and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. The gyro was one of the largest gyro sandwiches I've ever had, with so much meat and vegetables. My wife said the burger was absolutely delicious as well. The onion rings were very good and not greasy. Pete recommended his homemade barbecue sauce for the onion rings. I had never tried barbecue sauce with onion rings before, but his sauce was so good that you could dip shoe leather in it and think it tasted wonderful.We travel around the country full time, and we have already saved this restaurant in our "must visit list" when we return to this area of Ohio.Even if you are not a fan of Greek food, the hamburger was top-notch and worth coming there just for that.Equally as important as the great food was how you are treated by Pete and Nick. Within minutes of arriving, I felt like we were seeing an old friend we had not seen in many months. We left feeling like we had made two new friends who happened to make great tasting food. We will most definitely be back and highly recommend trying them out.

4 years later and they are still top notch. Went recently and got grilled octopus, fried smelt, Greek salad and a gyro; all were remarkably tasty! The grilled octopus is some of the best I've had and the customer service is unmatched! I love it here.

Simply Greek is a small local family-owned restaurant with fresh Greek food. We got the regular gyro (not pronounced ji-row as I was corrected), calamari and stuffed grape leaves. Food was prepared fresh and fast. Prices were average. I enjoyed the signs and pictures on the walls, especially the "Ji-row" signs. Definitely recommend!

Wow was the Vegetable Gyro delicious!!! This is my first visit to the restaurant and I will definitely be going back!!!!!

What a great find! First time here and you would have never guessed the quality and detail that goes into the food at Simply Greek. It is a classic hole in the wall with super high end food.Had the burger and it was outstanding.Give this place a try you wont be disappointed!

Outstanding Greek food including both street food as well as dinners. This is the real stuff!

We were looking for a place to eat lunch today and happened to find Simply Greek. We had excellent kalamari and gyros that were out of this world. Nice mom and pop eatery with great service. We will be back.
