It's got a pretty good selection and the location is great for me.The staff are always friendly and the line never takes long to cash out. It's always clean inside.

The hours of operation posted on the door stated they were open until 10:00 PM. When we arrived at 9:35 PM to pick up a quick bottle of wine for a family dinner the following day, they already locked the doors and verbally told us we couldn't come in because they were closed. Luckily there are plenty of other liquor stores nearby - this one certainly won't be my first choice again; the service we received was almost nonexistent at best and rude at worst.Two stars because my first time at this place (several years ago) was not a bad experience, which is why I gave it another go when I came back to my hometown. I guess the takeaway here is don't try to come within the last half hour before they close.

While on a business trip to Ohio, we stayed for a few days near here. I wanted to see if they had some brand or type of alcohol that I could not get back home in Toronto. The shop keep was very helpful and knowledgeable about all his stock, he gave us several good suggestions so I bought a few bottles of what he suggested, I loved it! I got a single malt whiskey aged in spiced rum barrels, which has great! The selection we wide and extensive. I will definitely be back!

Best place to go for Scotch, Bourbon, Gin, you name it. They have cheap stuff, expensive stuff, and damn near everything in between. I often go out of my way to come here to see what's new. Best selection in the area that I know of. Anyone know better, let me know!!!!

I was traveling back home to Ohio and am always on the lookout for Bourbon and Scotch that I cannot get at home. Went here based on Yelp reviews and boy are they ever accurate!! Super selection of higher end spirits and an amazing craft beer selection. Throw in a helpful friendly staff and great prices and you have a 5 star place for sure. I will be back next time I am in Ohio to visit my Mom

This is my favorite liquor store in Akron, hands down. They are clean, well-stocked, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I am a scotch/bourbon/gin drinker, so finding a place that carries a decent selection locally is really quite nice. Unlike most places, they have a good variety of scotch, including a dozen+ from Islay. Last time I was in there, they also had a couple bottles of Amrut, the first single malt out of India. I had previously only been able to get this online, so it was great to see a couple bottles in their store. I'd love to see more Japanese whiskey as well as more Welsh, but until there's a demand for them, I don't expect to see them any time soon. The rest of the store's selection is solid, and I'd expect that unless you're looking for something really rare (or exceptionally expensive), you'll have no problem finding it at Silver Spirits. Additionally, their prices are superb. I'm not 100% sure how they do their pricing, but they're consistently cheaper than everywhere else in the county and majority of the time, they beat online prices.

Lenny and staff are as good as they get! I called them and they were kind enough to talk for a bit about some different spirits they had in stock. I went in the next day and they remembered me and had an even better selection than I imagined! Thank you so much. This is easily one of my preferred stores and I live 100 miles away!

Helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and fair. The proprietor helped turn me on to my new favourite bourbon, which cost less than the other one I was inquiring about . Good people.

Excellent selection - especially rare/hard to find/limited edition spirits!

Visiting from out-of-town and swung-by to get a few bottles. Amazing selection of whiskeys. The staff was super helpful and was able to point me in the direction of some great Japanese whiskeys. Thanks for your help.
