AAA work party for Christmas. They were so accommodating to bring 13 of us in. We reserve two tables and had two different chefs. Each employee knew what their budget was so we could pay for it all at the end and then each employee who chose to have an alcoholic beverage was individually charged, so there was a lot of work on the staff, which was amazing. Logan was our original server who took out order and set us up and helped clear the tables and he was just amazing on his professionalism and his service.. the food was amazing with each individual plate place to order and even two employees had different allergies to take into consideration so their place were modified. Naturally, all the food came out hot and delicious and overall had a wonderful time..On a sidenote, I was here years ago for a sushi class, which I brag about all the time if you ever get a chance to attend a sushi class here make sure you do .

What happened to this place? It used to be awesome circa 2010. The last table chef we had was lackluster and bored and our most recent take out the spicy tuna looked and had the consistency more like cat food. Sorry but do better!

Food was delicious!! Just don't buy drinks from the bar!!!!!Beware of bartender. Told me singles was one price then charged me nearly double the price! Also charged 3 dollars for having my drink with no ice!! Tried to give me a receipt with just the total and tip percentages.

Met a friend at Shinto today for happy hour. Sat at the bar and ordered drinks and an appetizer. Also had some wine. We then ordered sushi rolls which were discounted for their Tuesday special. My friend just got over a recent surgery so she was tired and didn't have a huge appetite after having a drink and the appetizer. We only ordered 3 regular rolls and one specialty roll. I ate more than she did and she couldn't eat much so she was going to just save her last 5 pieces for lunch tomorrow. We ask for our bill and a take out box only to be told we can't take our 5 little pieces of sushi to go. No takeout boxes even though we had cocktails, wine and an appetizer. I get that some people might abuse the special pricing but if you are there for two hours eating and drinking you should be able to take home what you paid for vs having perfectly good food go in the garbage.... OR the server should have alerted us to this rule BEFORE we ordered. Won't be back. Not a good way to treat your customers.

The service was a little slow but more importantly the restaurant is filthy! The floor is so greasy you slip while walking to your gable. The noodles were sweet and the chicken also tasted like there was cinnamon or something on it. I've come here for years but the last two have not been good at all. Food is always very good. If you want chaos where you have to yell at the person next to you, this is also the place. We order take out every now and then, which can be a nightmare. The host is upfront which is right next to all of the teppanyaki tables and neither the ordering person nor the hostess can hear what anybody is saying. Doesn't leave you with a ton of confidence when they quote you 20 mins and it goes in 45 minutes as you wait for your order. I guess I will write a review.
