Shawn's Irish Tavern

Came here for the first time. It was busy. There are tables, booths, and bar seating for options. Lots of tvs making every seat a good seat. I hate when one seat has a good view and the other doesn't at the same table. Our server was very kind and gave good recommendations. We shared a Rueben and the kielbasa/pierogies. Rueben was very good and not greasy. My fingers weren't left dripping. Also def recommended getting the chips. They r homemade. Will come back to try other items. We saw things going to other tables that looked good. Good beer menu as well.

We've been here numerous times both when we lived here five years ago and recently from this move here. This is such a cool neighborhood bar with great food, cold dry is, your favorite sporting event on and people who come time and time again. They made some updates to this place since the last time we lived here and they now have gold simulators! I went and checked it out and saw families playing, groups of friend and couples playing together. Such a cool and different concept to add but it was packed!We came here for happy hour and had an early dinner. The menu hasn't. Hanged much but they did have an extensive lent menu which I thought was great. I ordered the Reuben since it's that time of year and the flavor was amazing!I do love that they still offer free popcorn to the tables while you wait for your food. Just a great place all around and awesome service every time.

Shawn's is a pretty cool place. Typical Irish pub atmosphere and a nice menu. Food was good but surprisingly not a lot of Irish food on the menu. Staff was friendly and attentive. They are connected to a golf simulation facility called Shawn's Back Nine. You can order drinks and food while hitting golf balls. I had never done that before and it was fun.

I stopped by after work to grab a drink and some take out. I sat down at the bar and ordered a drink and informed the bartender that I was contemplating ordering some take out. He brought my drink, then proceeded to pretend I didn't exist for over thirty (30) minutes. He kept passing me by, spent time talking with other staff, quickly pouring drinks for regulars, and never asking if I liked my drink, would like another one, needed anything, or was ready to order my takeout. Eventually I was able to flag him down. I ordered my food, and he verified I wanted it to go. Food took forever and when he brought it to me, guess what?......It was on a plate ready for me to eat. I had to remind him that it was to go. He disappeared for an inordinately long time (so long that I thought my food was being tampered with) then brought my food in a take out bag. I paid and left immediately.Despite literally living around the corner from Shawn's, I will never be returning, and I would recommend neither should you.UPDATE: hour laterBit into my veggie ciabatta, and despite asking for no onions, found dozens of them. Ruined my food completely. Changing my review from 2 stars to 1.

Gotta give them 4 due to beer selection alone. Where other locations has more taps, the the more unique selections can be found here. Service is hit/miss.Bar is crowded. Minimal Covid precautions. Ok now i gotta take another star away. Get some dividers for the bar. Food is again hit or miss. The BBQ pork is good. Chicken noodle soup looks and tastes like the progresso in my cabinet. Fries and other potatoes are good. My man got a few sandwiches and he said he will never eat there again so looks like I will be going to enjoy the beer solo‍

Stopped in on way home from Chicago to catch the 2nd half of the Cleveland Browns game. Ordered Greek Chicken Chunks, Reuben Balls and fries. Food was mediocre at best. Reuben Balls were overcooked and lacked flavor, chicken was deep fried and not tender, and French Fries were mostly little scraps. Overall loss for both the Brown's and our meal.

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner. I was craving a salad and ordered the Farmers salad with the vinaigrette that comes with it. The salad came and was nicely loaded up with real bacon. The salad had great flavor and all of the ingredients melded excellently. I really enjoyed the salad. My wife ordered the hummus platter and she enjoyed that as well.

Nice place. Food not so much. I'll stick with beverages only next time. The staff is efficient and friendly, a nice spot to grab a cold one!
