Shangri-La II Event Center

Shangri la is the most beautiful wedding location in Ohio. We had our wedding here 9/03/2022 and we could have not asked for a better place. It is absolutely beautiful our guests were blown away. Im going to tell you about all the cool things but first I have to tell you about the family who runs it, they are the kindest most helpful easiest people to work with. From when we met them until even after the wedding they were extremely helpful and make you feel like you are part of their family. Even my guests commented on how awesome they were. They really put the cherry on top, great people.Besides the beauty of this place which speaks for itself it also has 2 rooms to get ready in. One is a bridal suite that has mirrors/lights/chairs for getting ready. My bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done in this room and it was so great. There is another seperate room for the guys to get ready in that is also very nice.The bar is a tiki bar! Who doesn't like tiki bars, who has a bad time at a tiki bar...no one. There is a lake which adds to the whole vibe and captain rod will give people boar rides. My guests loved loved loved that. The tent is huge and the sides open and let a great breeze in from the water.There are 2 different options of where you can married on the property. We choose the island wedding where it is surrounded by water and your guests have to walk over a beautiful bridge. Also super cool bc when the bride walks over it adds drama. There is also a arch on the property that you can decorate and use.. Not to mention the beautiful landscaping of this place!I cannot say enough good things about this great place and the wonderful people who own and run it. 100% would recommend.

This is an absolutely gorgeous location for a wonderful spring, summer, or fall occasion. All outdoors with everything you could possibly need. The bridal suites (separate for both the groom and the bride) are newly renovated and top of the line. So cozy and so comfortable which makes getting ready a breeze. The outdoor location is GORGEOUS! Right on the water, it offers a great location for guests to enjoy and for beautiful pictures. The whole area is concrete so you do not have to worry about dirt or rocks ruining shoes or dresses. There is a tiki bar, a full kitchen, and a covered area that can also have the walls open to get a great breeze off the lake. One thing to note is you do bring everything yourself. You have to provide the alcohol and the food, etc, but it allows you to be creative and be in charge of every detail.With all that being said, the staff hands down is the best. They're so helpful and hands on and will be there with whatever questions you may need!Overall amazing place that I highly would recommend!
