Shale Craft Coffee

Honey and lavender latte tastes like Spring! This place has a great selection of creative lattes and a comfortable place to enjoy your drinks. There are cozy chairs and many tables to work from. I also noticed there was a fire place while I was here, but it wasn't on at the time. Nonetheless it added to the cozy vibe.I would happily visit this place again the next time I'm in the area. The baristas are very kind and helpful in picking a drink.

I drove by and immediately wanted to stop in. I love trying local coffee shops. They are setup in an old car shop. They only had one person working and she was busy but super nice and helpful. She did her best to work quickly and was friendly to everyone. They have a ton of drink options: espresso drinks, iced and hot coffees. I tried the flight (see attached). My mom got the peanut butter mocha (buckeye mocha I think) and really liked it. My favorite by far was the coconut rose. There was burnt coconut on top. The honey lavender was good too. I love spicy drinks (hot cocoas, margaritas, etc) but the spicy mocha was too spicy. I didn't finish it. Also, I'd note that four drinks was too much for me. Admittedly it wasn't my only coffee of the day but I think it was a little more than I needed.

It's 82° out and there is no other place I'd rather be than sitting here at Shale Craft Coffee with a really good cold brew, the bay windows open, a cool breeze blowing and a good book. I typically don't get cold brew coffee because many places don't do a good job brewing the coffee but this cold brew is really good. At the time of this review Shale is serving Deeper Roots coffee from Cincinnati who does a great job roasting craft coffee. Shale uses a La Marzocco espresso machine but I'm not sure what the brew batch brews with. Their menu has coffee drinks, non-coffee drinks, espresso drinks, signature drinks, and pastry items. The decor industrial and rustic. I love the patio and bay windows letting in lots of light and expanding the space. The music is an assortment of popular hits.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but when friends want to meet and chat here, then you go. I like that it's 40 seconds from my house. I also like the atmosphere. I would imagine it's roomier in warmer weather when the doors are open. My friend liked his London Fog tea. The chai was ok, not great. I've become somewhat of a chai snob, this one seemed more foamy. I'll come again, just maybe try a different tea.

Such a cute place with a great menu of coffee offerings! Shale was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. On this chilly autumn morning I was thrilled to walk inside and see a menu full of fall specials. I opted to create my own this time, and ordered a latte with brown sugar cinnamon and pumpkin with coconut milk (they have coconut, oat, and almond for non dairy options) and it was cozy in a cup. The staff was very friendly too, giving me the rundown and making recommendations when I said it was my first time in. I definitely look forward to trying another drink next time I'm in the area!

The coffee sold there is great, lots of selection. Prices are similar to that of Starbucks. Hours could be better but i definitely recommend.

Loved the location and coffee! Great little coffee shop great to meet up with a friend or get some work done. Nice patio when it's warm out!

Tried a (Rishi) tea and a mocha. Not tasty. Atmosphere is okay... but loud, because sounds echo around this industrial-like previous garage. The tables and chairs were flimsy and kept falling over. Lots of tables outside - maybe it's better in summer.

Checked this place out on a cool Sunday afternoon. It's a cute little shop and the service good. Everyone was very polite and patient with us. The coffee was pretty good. overall the flavor was good. 8/10. my muffin was okay. i was a bit disappointed because they use banana flavoring instead real bananas. my girl had a cinnamon muffin and it was very good. Her drink the "oatmeal cookie latte" was good also, it reminded us of the brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso from starbucks. i would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back. they even have a drive thru and outdoor seating which were very nice also.

I tried their salted caramel latte and really loved it. They chairs aren't the most comfortable for long periods of studying but I love the light that comes in from the windows and the vibe of this place. The staff was very inviting and friendly.
