They make a fabulous tortilla chicken soup. With the flu season just ahead of us, keep in mind of semi jalapeño in Struthers. This is the perfect get well soup. All white meat great flavor and might I add feels wonderful on a sore throat. Gotta try it!!!

A perfect local restaurant for someone from out of town wanting to try something new (non chain restaurant). My husband had AP Poblos Special and I got the Texas burrito. Both were absolutely delicious! Our 2 year old loved the flavorful rice and beans! The service was great. Our food came out maybe 8 minutes after ordering and they filled our drinks fast! Has a wonderful ambiance. We really enjoyed and if we find ourselves back in the area we will be sure to return

Great Restaurant in this town. Was in the mood for Mexican food and we found this jem. I'm not usually a fajita and or pineapple guy, but OMG this was fantastic. I would order over and over. My only thumbs downs was the cole slaw salad ....

I was craving Mexican but wanted it delivered - first world problem I know! My usual go-to of El Vallarta is no longer on GrubHub or DoorDash due to Covid so I decided to give Senor Jalapeno a shot. I got the Pollo Popeye which is a pounded chicken breast with a spinach and tomato cream sauce. The tomatoes left a bit to be desired but the rest of the dish was very tasty. The rice was freshly cooked and better than average for most Mexican spots. Beans were ok, good but nothing special that you wouldn't get somewhere else. For $3.99 I added a side of guac that was huge! They have some more traditional Mexican choices such as mole, carne asada and carnitas along with the usual fare of burritos, tacos and enchiladas. I don't think they have outdoor seating and I'm not ready to eat inside yet but once Covid danger is past, we'll try an in house visit.

Moved to Ohio from So. Cal. Have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. We are so happy to have found Sr. Jalapeno. We had the Chicken Mole, carne asada tacos and a Margarita. Delicious

Me and my husband stopped here for the first time last week and the food was amazing! Very fast service also. However they haven't been open since!!! Says online they are but when you go to do an online pick up order says they're not. So we drove there and there's a sign in the door that says they're closed. It's be nice to know when they're going to decide to run their business again. Or is this close permanent?... I hope not, cause it was great food... they're just never open! The inside looked like a very comfortable atmosphere, so we tried on a Saturday also and nope not open.

My son & I came n & sat @ bar for SHRIMP fajitas. We were served and began 2 eat. I decided to examine the plate further & notice meat. I immediately stopped eating and informed h the server/bartender he was apologetic and offered me another dish. I informed him that I haven't eaten meat of any kind in over 24 years and that if their grill was properly cleaned b4 preparing our order that this would've never occurred & I refused another plate. I'm leaving it's over 4 me. This joker tried to charge me 4 the dish I returned after 1 (one) bite and attempted to explain to me why I should pay. Can't go n2 detail here, but of course I didn't pay for it. SR. JALAPEÑO IS A DIRTY PLACE. FOOD SERVICE AREA CANT B CLEAN THEIR COMMON DECENCY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!!STAY AWAY!!!!
