Scribbles Coffee

This has become my go to coffee shop in Kent. Prices are reasonable, staff is very friendly. You get a mix of locals and college students.

Not local to Kent....Thought I was coming to Bent Tree Coffee (right next door lol) because I saw black squirrel on sign (which is on lot of labels for Bent Tree)....did they do this on purpose?!?Anyhow light roast drip (black) was awesome. Young staff was not really helpful when trying to decide which is why I just went simple ....glad I did Price was fair ....$2.50 medium?Enjoyed outside seating

Delightful is a good adjective for this college town coffee shop. Main Street in an old building with tables made from repurposed bowling alleys and vintage chairs. It is a cozy place to relax and read anytime and a GREAT place in the summer to sit outside in the shade and unwind. Lots of plugs and the Wi-Fi we would all expect. Slow town and spend some time here...

Nice quiet place to study or have a cup of tea. Staff and friendly and the place was clean.

Over the past year at Kent State, Scribbles Coffee has become my absolute go-to spot. Their iced chai latte is hands down the best around--perfectly spiced and always refreshing. The cozy vibe and friendly staff have made it not just a coffee shop but a cherished part of my daily routine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great cup and a welcoming atmosphere!

Had I seen this I could have spared my question of "what is the black squirrel" but the barista was polite and didn't mind.2) ignore the line. If there is one - trust me, it's worth it. Allow 30 minutes to pick up your coffee and you should be within this timeframe.

Too crowded. Only have tea bags of poor quality. Menu is a confusing mess.Pastries not freshly made, and they either can't warm them up or just don't offer to. Too bad.

Always a 10/10 Experience at Scribbles, I have never gotten a bad coffee or matcha here!

Cute spot. Not kid friendly. I thought they would have high chairs but they don't so that was a bit challenging. Not many food options either. I would go again but not with my little one

negative 10 stars, I was taking my wife on a coffee date, super excited because I had gotten a great cup of coffee from there the day before. wile the girl was taking my order, she moved the payment screen so that she could read my shirt, that says( Jesus is my Savior, and Trump is my president. When she read trump is my president, she said trump is not the president, and she said it to where is made me feel like a piece of trash, or less then a human. then I heard her mutter under her breath to the other girl worker loud enough that I could hear it, and she said, I'm so Fucking done with racist comments, and then continued to treat me very disdainfully, about that time my wife walked in wondering what in the world is going on.. i just played it cool so as not to embarrass her in front of everybody and repeat what she had said, she should be removed from her job, if she can't keep her cool, just because of a shirt that I like.
