I've always wanted to visit the Screw factory and I finally got the opportunity. I'm glad I finally visited in mid-December 2023. I sort of stumbled my way here because I had forgotten about this factory but my friend Christina happened to be visiting on a Saturday afternoon and she asked if I wanted to come along so off I went.SERVICE -- I didn't see much guidance so you'll be on your own as you navigate your way around which can be overwhelming so keep that in mind. Also, the parking lot is very large so it may take you some time of driving around before you even find a spot.WINTER HOLIDAY MARKET -- I arrived for their winter holiday market. There were probably over 100 vendors (small businesses) inside the factory selling all sorts of items from candles, to artwork, pottery, t-shirts, etc. I also noticed a small section of food vendors. There is so much to see here that I suggest not coming in on an empty stomach. I hadn't eaten lunch when I arrived and I was starving so I left after 30 mins while my friend Christina left before me because of the large amount of people around. This factory is similar to 78th street studios but the Screw factory is much larger. I recommending visiting the Screw factory if you love exploring different artists.****GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024- 4/150 total reviews in 2024- 654 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 1 February 2024

Went to art show here at Christmas time. I am told they have 4 a year. It was great! They are a very large industrial building in the middle of Lakewood neighborhood. Inside it's very old factory feel with artists and artisans doing work. Really cool place. The Christmas Art Show had vendors that were artist there as well as others who rented tables. There had to be 200 artists. Lots to see and admire. Great for unique Christmas gifts. They also had some people selling food as well. The 2nd and 3rd floors had the artists. Lots and lots to look at. The stairs are steep and old. Well the whole building is really old but it's cool. We spent 2.5 hours looking at all the artists. Didn't even realize it we were having fun talking to people and looking around. This place was crowded. Parking is catch as catch can. So if you see a spot go for it. Otherwise you might drive around a bit. Definite fun and worth the time. It's great to support local artists and shop small for the good of Cleveland.

Wonderful eclectic selection of arts and crafts galleries. They had one gallery where I bought her son's first drawing, after Michelangelo. The painter on the first floor wanted to be paid right away, before I'd had a chance to consider, which was a turn off, and I was left hobbling around with my cane.

The Screw Factory is tucked away in a forgotten corner of Lakewood south of Madison Park. I expected a building similar to 78th Street Studios upon arrival. Screw Factory seems to be bigger and it is a lot more cavernous. The building opens up to the public only a few times a year and the last event was for last minute holiday gift shopping. I had a great time wandering through the labyrinth and checking out the various studios and temporary pop-up vendors. I ran into my high school ceramics teacher (Mrs. Fannin) there. If you hear about an event at the Screw Factory, you should check it out.

I can not say enough great things about this venue and all of their coordinators and employees. They were so accommodating and easy going they really kept me stress free. Anytime I turned around they were there to help with smiles on their faces. Having the space from Wednesday-Monday, what a dream! I completely made it my own and it was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My guest were blown away! Kathy and Megan are a dream team to coordinate and work with. Gary,Dave,James, and Dan a real pleasure to work with and reliable hard working men. The entire week of my wedding and night of even allowing us to stay later than a usual wedding being NYE went off without any problems from the venue. Thank you all so much for all your hard work and smiling faces.

Came here for Yellowcake Shop's Hullaballo 2013 fashion show. SUCH a GREAT space! Huge, open warehouse upstairs that some stringed lighting and paper lanterns complemented perfectly. If I were getting married in Cleveland, this is the space I would go for.

Great holiday selections. Be prepared next year for crowds (go early) steps, and it was very warm inside.
