First time here... finally! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!Great service, fun atmosphere, and EXCELLENT FOOD! I tried the "Do not call it... Corned Beef Hash (See pics)" - wow! Thick cut corned beef, crispy potatoes, fresh peppers & onions, eggs... everything seems to be homemade (including their ketchup), fresh, and with a twist! Well done, Scratch! Well done!

Wish it were possible to leave 6 stars...Last month I stopped in with my wife to try Scratch based on reviews and photos. I periodically go to Cleveland for medical care and it was just a 20 minute drive from my hotel.Had a great breakfast and the waitress Jen was amazing. Not a huge menu, but it's a bit unique.I had the Not your ordinary Corned Beef Hash from the Savory side of the menu, and my wife had the Bananas and Bourbon French Toast from the sweet side. Both were exceptional.Had to return back up for a follow-up this week and on the way home stopped in again. Jen recognized us, welcomed us back... and after taking our order she asked if I wanted a side of mushrooms this time too.Great memory . I of course did, and we had another perfect experience even though this time we tried the Blueberry Moonshine French Toast, and split a Blackberry Waffle which was also incredible.Never judge a restaurant based on size alone.These folks care, and it's well worth a drive across Cleveland to give them a try. You will be glad you did

Service is the mark of excellence. Scratch is not stuffy, actually it's fun when they know your name, and it doesn't take long to become part of the scratch family. I have eaten there 7 times in the past three months. Their banana pudding French toast is spot on delish. If you like fried potatoes they come with almost everything and seem to be a staple here. Try the omelet, it's an overload. And don't forget to tell them Patrick sent you

Some of the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Wait staff was phenomenal. Educated, witty, energetic, attentive. My service was just as good as the food. This burrito was tremendous. Has to be on some sort of list ... perhaps a national treasure? Race here immediately to get your fix. It's a perfect breakfast cafe.

I have been to Scratch a couple different times and I really do love having such a nice breakfast spot nearby that offers unique menu items and is filled with friendly people! If I could do half stars this place would for sure be a 4.5/5 stars. The food here is always nice and hot and very large portion sizes. their home fries are big chunks of crispy potatoes, and I LOVE THEM. I love that their menu has traditional and non-traditional breakfast items. It is a bit pricy but you definitely get a lot of food, the compassion burrito is MASSIVE. All the food was delish, I wish the pork belly was not so hard it was a bit too crispy but good flavor. I love that their ketchup and hot sauce is homemade, the verde sauce is definitely my favorite. The place is small so just expect a wait as they get busy, and it can get pretty loud in there with it being tiny. The workers are always very very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu which is helpful. Definitely drop in this place and give it a go, they have some awesome flavors and sweet and savory options, so you are sure to find something you like. I definitely recommend the chorizo hash, it is my favorite for sure and best flavor out of a dish I have had there but it is a bit spicy!

I've been here twice now and it lives up to the hype each time. I've tried half the menu now and I can't recommend the biscuits and gravy enough! There is a surprise sausage IN the biscuit. Genius. Recommend sharing something sweet with the table. The tiramisu pancakes are divine. You might have to wait but trust me, it's worth it.

Amazing place, this is a place you have to try it's not very spacious but the wait was worth it. When they called it Scratch they weren't kidding....they make everything even the ketchup.

Sorry if this review does not make sense but this is what happened to me here. So I live very close to the place, and when I was there my waiter was very rude and did not even tell us her name. When I got my food for my kid he wanted a waffle and they came out with shrimp we did NOT want this.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy after getting some recommendations since it was my first time there. Biscuits and gravy were great. I could tell everything was made with care. The medium eggs were perfect and the home fries were surprisingly good. Speaking of surprises there was was a sausage patty in the middle of both biscuits. Definitely more than filling. Service wise very friendly. The dining area wasn't huge but everything was clean and looked good. I liked their sign inside.
