When the Brew Kettle had their production here, it was never open to the public. Now, SchnitzAle makes their beer here and has created a really cozy space. The food options are limited, but delicious! The beer speaks for itself, of course. Lots of choices to please anybody! Highly recommended!

This is the production facility and tasting room of Schnitz Ale Brewery in Parma. The facility itself is a tad small, but has a great ambiance. They had both high top and lower tables as well as bar seating. We went on a Saturday evening and there was a band playing, so it was a full house. They had 13 beers on tap and a small food/snack menu. I had a flight and tried one of their hazy IPAs, the mimosa seltzer, their golden ale and the German chocolate cake pastry stout. I really enjoyed all 4! I didn't try their food on this visit, but I look forward to trying in the future. Schnitz Ale Productions is a great new addition to Strongsville and looking forward to seeing how they grow!

Easy to overlook this pub in the middle of an industrial park area. Opened in March 2024, small space for the pub (thought it's unofficially a "tasting room". The brew area and warehouse fill out the rest) but elegantly decorated and inviting. Likely to fill up quickly on some nights so best to arrive early. The hostess at the desk was a bit stiff (you will understand once you arrive) but the sole bartender was genial and responsive. The brews, I understand, will rotate regularly so that's a reason to make your way back. Sampled the Scotch ale, a pilsner, a blonde stout flavored with chocolate, and a weizen. All very good at $5 a pop. The food menu is limited to pretzels, sausages, and other pub grub. We had a fully loaded charcuterie board with plenty of cheese, salami, prosciutto, pickled peppers, smoked nuts and toasted chips -- could probably have benefitted from some bigger pita chips or even bread rounds but plenty to consume and take home. Location features a membership feature which gets you a personal mug (stored in showcase area), and discounts and specials. Parking lot looks to be a bit narrow and could be difficult to navigate on SRO nights but I am retired so you know I will be there at open time in early afternoon. Music was a bit harsh to my ears at the time (need more classic rock than what sounded like death metal) but there's a digital jukebox with most every other genre. Will be making a regular stop. Welcome to the neighborhood.
