Savoria Bar & Grill

The service was slow. We had a reservation. When we finally were served, our items came all out of order. Cocktails came out after appetizers. Flatware and plates came after appetizers. Salad came after entrees. Cocktails were not good. I'm a bourbon connoisseur, my mixed bourbon cocktail was supposed to have Jefferson's, it was not good. Sent back. The only time the server Amanda was engaging is when it was time to pay. The Hanger steak that I ordered had absolutely no seasoning. The best thing about this location was the ambiance. Beautiful location. There was live music playing and it was great.

Fabulous food, friendly staff and a quiet ambience. The prices were reasonable. A cut above the average hotel restaurant.

Found this place because we had a large party and wanted a reservation on very short notice. Didn't realize it was inside a Holiday Inn, but don't let that scare you away. The interior is comfortable and a bit classy. The menu has quite a bit on it, so everyone should be able to find something, and the offerings are several steps above what you might find in a hotel restaurant. The food was very good! Several of my party had steak and enjoyed their meals, I had one of their flatbreads, which was very good, and another had a very good burger (which came with really tasty fries). Service was attentive, not hurried, which allowed us to enjoy our time together. If you're looking for a very nice meal in Mentor, put this place on your list!

Savoria is a hidden little gem. The menu has a good range of options, burgers, tacos, flatbreads up through steaks & entrees. We have eaten here a couple of times and the food has consistently been good. It's also a good place to have a drink and an appetizer. They have music some evenings. It's tucked in the Holiday Inn. Park out front and go straight through the lobby. When the weather is good, they have a nice patio too.

I first had their food at taste of Mentor and it was delicious so I stopped by on a taco Tuesday night for dinner with someone who hadn't eaten here before. Tacos were the special so we both got them. Great food and service thank you!

Hotel restaurants can be hit or miss. Right when you walk in you could tell Savoria would be solid. They have an upscale feel without the upscale dining price. Staff was kind and greeted you as you walk in. The bartender recommended the tacos and they did not disappoint. Many places tend to do too much with tacos and get crazy on the toppings. The toppings did not overpower the flavor of the pork belly or steak. They had a nice balance with each bite. Would recommend topping with the house hot sauce. As far as food quality, this may be one of the best hotel restaurants I have had, their chef and team take pride in what they bring to the table. Thank you for a nice meal.

Had an excellent dinner tonight! Hanger steak tacos were phenomenal. Hubs had salmon on cedar plank with sub of blue cheese Cole slaw for salad. He really enjoyed it!!Started off with the shrimp avocado mousse appetizer and a perfect martini. Beautiful space. Soft music and wonderful service!

We were a party of 8 on a Friday night. Our server, Karen, was very attentive and gave us some great ideas on what to order! The guys ordered ribeyes, which were all cooked to perfection! Other entrees included the Boursin chicken (I never order chicken in a restaurant, as it's always dry. It was far from here!), cedar plank salmon (she loved it) and their award winning hanger steak. We all had a taste and it was fantastic!We look forward to our next visit!!
