Sandusky Bay Pancake House

So I got the recommendation for this place from a Cedar Point pass holders Facebook group I'm a part of and this place came highly recommended. We are first-timers to both Ohio/ Cedar Point/ Sandusky so we figured we grab breakfast here.The atmosphere is really great and welcoming, they have a really large mural on the side of the building that is great for pictures. Once you enter the restaurant you're greeted by the yellow bus counter which is also great for pictures and if you are from out of town they have a sign you can take a picture with and they will post to their social media story on Instagram.We got a variety of different options from waffles and chicken to pancakes and Crepes as well as omelets and some of their signature coffee drinks like the Samoa. We enjoyed our visit so much the first time, we made sure to double down and go back before we headed back to Maryland.This place can become extremely busy and there is often a wait time especially on weekends. The service however was really great from Bailee I believe her name was. She took our orders promptly and our food arrived hot and fresh. This isn't your typical breakfast restaurant as it feels more upscale than say an IHOP. It reminded me of our Pancake House back home with delicious food and wonderful service.I enjoyed the plentiful menu options that were available as they have something for everyone. The one tip I will add is to bring a jacket or blanket as they keep the AC going pretty frequently. We really enjoyed our time here and this has now become a staple for when we visit Sandusky going forward! 5 outta 5 - SupaFlyITGuy approved!

This restaurant was super cute!! My friend and I were heading back home when we decided to grab brunch. We stumbled upon Pancake house and we sat immediately at the bar. It was VERY packed, but very clean and the service was fast. I ordered the cinnamon French toast roll and it was delicious, a bit sweet but that was expected. My friend also ordered French toast and overall we enjoyed our meal. Of course we could finish it, but we didn't wait long for our food and everyone was very polite. Overall, I highly recommend it was a nice experience! I wish I ordered more on the menu to have more options, but the menu is also huge so I was absolutely overwhelmed as well. Great place to visit when you're in the area.

A little pricey but very delicious and the staff were friendly. The wait time wasn't too bad I think it was maybe 15 min. Lots of food and drink choices!

Solid meh. The coffee, although local, wasn't that great. I swapped it for an iced tea. Much better. My son got the banana and strawberry crepes. He loved them. My husband got a salad. I got the club sandwich. I don't eat beef or pork so I asked to sub the ham for a turkey sausage. Off and they said no problem. It came out without the chicken. I asked for it and they offered to remake it. I said just please bring the chicken. I got three slices. The best part was our waiter, Cody. He was very friendly and helpful.

The food was a 3.5, but service was a 3, so it defaults it to a 3. the pancakes were very good. They were soft and fluffy. The sausage was not very good and my girl wouldn't eat it at all. It was overcooked. The menu had a great variety, and I would actually go back. I think I ordered "the wrong thing" I got the potato pancake. And it was okay, good, not great. My husband got chicken and waffles and he enjoyed it.

A large group and we had 1 hour to be serviced before they closed and this place delivered. The service was quick, and the waiter was attentive and offered suggestions. I jad the prickly pear mimosa and Santa fe hash. The mimosa was pretty good, and the hash was good, not great. It needed something on top to bring it all together. It tasted a little disjointed, but it was good. I tasted the sweet potato pancakes and the buttermilk pancakes. The sweet potato pancakes were good, but the regular pancakes were a little hard and flat. I am a pancake snob, so if you say you're a pancake house, you need to do pancakes very well. It failed a little on the pancakes. My other tablemates were satisfied with their meals, but none of us were overwhelmed with delight.

This is a great place to eat breakfast. If you are in the cedar point area and are looking for a good restaurant to eat breakfast get try the pancake house. On the weekends get there early as it does get busy.

The pancakes were amazing! Blueberry was our favorite! The atmosphere is very cute and very clean. The restaurant was busy and a little too loud but we still enjoyed ourselves. Servers were nice and the food was great. Took a little longer to get our food but it was definitely worth the wait! Will definitely be back next time we are in Sandusky!

Came to GWL and stopped by the pancake place that's right next to it. The menu is crazy and there are too many options. But quality I find was meh. Also, my son ordered the kids meal and for drink she actually asked for small or regular when it's free refills. I let him decide and he got the regular felt a little underhanded. Was it his own fault? Yes. The place is nice and clean and very big. Washroom was nice and clean.

Food was yummy. Served was excellent! Drinks we're lukewarm at best and I love hot drinks. When you get a hot beverage you want it hot.
