This place was everything others said and more!Yes the decor is less than to be desired with some weird color vibes inside and out, but that's because they're focused on the sushi and food! I'll take that any day.My kids LOVE sushi so we ordered a ton and the waitstaff delivered it to us on a beautiful wooden board with a little sushi drawing which made the kids' night. The rolls were phenomenal (we had tuna avocado, salmon avocado, and yellowtail).We also really enjoyed the miso soup, seaweed salad, and chicken teriyaki.This place is not to be missed whether you live in Erie or are there for a visit. We'll be back!

Stopped by a little after 9:00. Staff was super nice! Our waiter Cassandra was awesome! She was so prompt on getting everything to our table. We shared the hibachi chicken and the Samurai roll. Only complaint regarding the food was that the fried rice had WAYYYYY too much soy sauce. Would probably just get plain rice next time. Honestly loved the Samurai roll, best sushi I've had in Erie. The Hibachi chicken and vegetables paired perfectly together. The vegetables were not soggy and were super flavorful! We will be back for sure.

Amazing sushi. Got the erie roll that was recommended and it was some of the best sushi I have ever had. I got my order to-go so I can't comment on the service, but at least the lady on the phone was nice. My one complaint is the sides. My side salad to go, I'm not even joking had like 5 pieces of lettuce, was so tiny. But the amazing sushi makes up for it. I mean who really goes to a sushi restaurant for a side salad. Will definitely be back.

We are such big fans. We come back once a year as a big family and they are always so accommodating and kind. Last year we had a reservation outside and it rained us out but everyone was so nice and they helped plate all the food to go while we raced around in the rain. The food is all so reasonably priced, it's easy to feed a family of 15 and all 15 of us seem pretty happy and look forward to coming back.

Every time we visit Erie we eat at the Samurai Kitchen. The food, service, and ambiance are always top shelf. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, as good as you'll find anywhere...and a great addition to Erie dining.

My husband and I made a reservation for a Friday night. We were seated on the patio - thankfully, because it was rather loud inside since it's so small. I ordered the yaki udon seafood, and he ordered the Sumo hibachi plate. We also got a shrimp tempura roll. Everything was delicious! This was our second time at Samurai Kitchen and we will definitely be back.

Go here for the food not the decor. Everything I eaten here has been fresh, fresh, fresh! Flavors are wonderful. My friends and family who eat sushi are enthusiastic about the rolls. The interior is minimalist; just tables on a tiled floor. For me it makes the dining like one of those shows where a renown chef takes a reporter to an unlikely establishment and says, "This is the best sushi in western Pennsylvania."

We had friends who had never dined at Samurai. They really enjoyed the experience. We started with chicken potstickers followed by the amazingly simple and delicious avocado salad. Love that dressing. We had hibachi, sunset roll, Erie Roll and sashimi. All delicious!Server was very helpful in explaining the menu and offering suggestions. Very timely with our food and beverages
