Sammy K's Steak House & Sportsbar

The place isn't much to look at(inside or out), but the food here is really good. Some items a pretty reasonable, and some a little over priced. I had the grouper, which is topped with asparagus, lobster meat, and a white sauce. The portion was nice, and it was preppared very nicely. The only complaint would be the rice pilaf. It tasted generic. I had the pepperoni rolls for an appetizer, and they were very good. The drinks are priced decently as well. They do charge you extra for using a credit card, which stinks.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant many times for the roasted chicken. We have brought family and friends. Today we brought my daughter and her husband who were visiting from Seattle. Much to our dismay, SammyK's is not interested in being a good restaurant. When you start selling trump t-shirts and have life size cardboard cutouts in any area where food is served is just gross and in poor taste! Leave your political crap out of your business! That will be the last time I will step inside that place!

Great food, great people, I had their 16 oz Delmonico, it was wonderful, probably the best steak in the area.Heather was very attentive and made the visit even more enjoyable

Truly delicious food from daily specials and a full bar to fabulous servers Yes Mary talking about you to friendly wait staff. Any of the daily special potato skins you have to try my favorite are the buffalo chicken ones - they are amazing! Hope they're on the menu if not grab some broasted chicken and a Jameson and Ginger and enjoy a quiet night with great food and great service.

No service on the patio, so we went inside. All out of perch, so we made alternate choices. Dinner then arrived for two & then two more for our family of four. Everything was cold... except the French fries. Not going back. Ass restaurant in general bro smh not skibity rizz at all.

We hadn't been in for a little while and were surprised and disappointed to see the place had dramatically changed. We didn't recognize any of the service people and our waitress was clearly new. This was a Wednesday and their 'King of Hearts' night. It used to be standing room only, and now maybe a dozen at the bar and a long table. My prime rib sandwich, ordered medium rare, came out well done; my husband's broasted chicken was just okay- the pieces were notably small for a 4-piece dinner. We are so disappointed , we won't be back any time soon.

Planning a post-funeral event for 30-50 people is a significant undertaking, necessitating a venue that combines professionalism with compassionate service. Unfortunately, Sammy K's failed in both respects during a time when my family needed understanding and meticulous attention the most. This venue once hosted our family's gatherings with warmth and professionalism, but something has clearly changed, leading to a deeply regrettable experience. We reached out to Sammy K's on May 4th to reserve the venue for July 20th, and were initially reassured by their response that we could finalize details closer to the event date. However, this reassurance quickly turned into a series of frustrating interactions. On June 4th, having heard nothing from the venue, I initiated contact to finalize our plans. I suggested a potential meeting on June 7th, but they never confirmed it. Then, on June 8th, I received a perplexing voicemail questioning why I had missed the supposed appointment. After clearing up this miscommunication, we rescheduled for June 11th at 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, I arrived to wait until I was later informed that they had "houseguests and forgot" our appointment. Nevertheless, I sent them our catering order that same day, indicating our readiness to pay in full upfront--a gesture of commitment that was not reciprocated. Repeated attempts to reschedule and confirm went unanswered until a call on June 17th, during which they again inquired about my absence at a meeting I had never been told was confirmed. The persistent disorganization and lack of basic communication ultimately forced us to relocate our event. This repeated disorganization and lack of respect for our circumstances were deeply disappointing. We were forced to relocate our event during a time when my family sought solace and reliability. I cannot recommend, Sammy K's for any events, especially those requiring sensitive handling. Their negligence, lack of compassion, and incompetence were glaring and inexcusable during such a delicate time.

Unfortunately despite how good the pictures looked online, it did not meet my expectations. The steak I received had no seasoning and was badly charred, it just tasted like a burnt steak with no flavoring. The potato skins were overcooked. The potato wedges were mushy, they did not travel well during delivery. They need to be cooked longer to make them crispier. The pizza was basic and the pepperoni rolls were very doughy. I spent almost $100 on food I would never want to order again, very disappointing.

We love Sammy K's, not only for the awesome food and drinks at a great price, but also the amazing service provided by our favorite server Val!!

Sammy K's used to be our go to casual place for a quick meal, well that ended last weekend. My husband and best friend planned a surprise party for my 60th birthday. They selected there as it has a party room, is casual and the food was always good. The food unfortunately was luke warm when they put it in the chaffing dishes and never did heat up, the pop was warm and after numerous request never brought out any ice for my guests.When the party was booked, they were assured a staff member to buss tables and take drink orders. Nope, that never happened ! We were told the waitress that was supposed to work the party walked out and they couldn't spare anyone else to even clean up the dinner plates. My husband spent nearly $700 on food and drinks and that's how we were treated ?? Nope, never ever going again, holding events there or getting work lunches catered from them. They lost a good customer. Shame on you Sammy K.
