Samantha's did not disappoint! The food was delicious. We got lucky to have TokTok famous server Ashley give us menu support. The house hot sauce is

Visited the new location for the first time and had a great casual lunch. Dining room was clean and we had different options of where to sit, either high top or standard tables. Six different soup options - loved the wedding soup, it was packed with meatballs and greens. Both the tuna salad and the chicken salad melts were delicious. We were out in under 30 min. Great option for a quick lunch.

We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner here and although the food was amazing the rest of the experience was very disappointing. We were given a "private room " that proved to be anything but private. Public continued to flow in from outside into our "private room" and downstairs into the bar. Furthermore the bar was hosting karaoke and the music was so loud we couldn't carry on conversations at our party. Then add insult to injury they tried to charge us $500 for a private room fee which was never discussed prior to and private it was not. We don't recommend Samantha's for a private event.

My friend and I decided to try Samantha's Downtown because of the outstanding reviews people gave me.We were lucky enough to find on street parking. No worries today, since it was Saturday, no need to worry about a parking ticket.Walking inside, you're hit with loud music. The design of the bar and restraunt is rather nice.Worn skids on the wall with plants coming out between the slats were a nice touch. They have a huge Frank's produce sign on the wall going downstairs which is pretty nice. The lighting is sift, metal designed ceiling with alot of wood. Mostly high tables and chairs. (A bit of a struggle when you're 5'4. Lol)Once seated a pleasant young lady brought us our drinks. 35 minutes later our server came. She was pleasant enough and upbeat. She apologized for our wait time. Her name was Seema. She explained they had a huge onslaught of people and were serving downstairs as well. OK, we understand, looking at all those stairs, glad it wasn't me.30 some minutes later we get our food.I ordered the basic breakfast. Eggs over easy, toast sausage, as well as fried potatoes. My friend, western omlette and toast, hash browns. My eggs were hard, everything was cold, the same for my friend as well. His eggs were dry. I wanted to mention it;however Seema was terribly busy and we didn't want to wait another 30 plus minutes. The bartender/ barrista/ mixologist was a very energetic and engaging young guy. Wish we would have gotten his name. He was fast, personable and kept his area clean. He was attentive and constantly moving.I ordered a chocolate whip cream cocktail called Canadian....it was terrific. The music was so loud it was hard to have a nonversation, we had to shout( doesn't help one of us is deaf in one ear) lol.Being cook, the first rule is, you should be able to make a proper egg. They can't, at least not today.Food was cold, homefries beyond crispy, omlette dry. The toast was so hard it would break a tooth.I might try Samantha's if only to have a few cocktails and hang out with the bartender. He had everyone at the bar laughing and smiling. For 32.00, we feel let down and ripped off. A shame since we were hoping the food matched up with the ambience and employees. My

We were downtown to take care of some business and we walked passed. I said on back we should check it out. I'm so glad we did. It's a cute little spot. I had the eggs Benedict #1 with corned beef hash. Every bite was delicious. He had hot cakes. They were big and fluffy. The portions were large. The staff was attentive and very nice. This is gonna be a favorite! ** there are several Samantha's restaurants in Canton and some of the others have pictures that are NOT from this spot. Trust me this is a great local place. :)

They are in a new location, after reading the reviews in the paper I said let me try, well I can't say I was impressed. It's not as homemade as it was said. Ribs are boiled. Banana pudding is not made by scratch, they have a clientele. I don't think I would go back.
