Samantha’s Downtown Restaurant & Bar

Had a great experience during my first visit to Samantha's.The place was packed, so we sat at the bar and had breakfast. Pancakes were excellent, and the coffee was good too.

Samantha is a quaint, family-owned spot. I grabbed a seat a bar while my son and his friend attended the Pro Football Hall of fame. I was warmly greeted by a young man who offered me coffee. I ordered the pancakes and eggs meal that was seriously enough to feed three people.My pancakes were piping hot and my eggs were cooked properly.Service was friendly and efficient.I will definitely return during my next visit to Canton.

A nice stop for lunch. American pub food is king here. The ambience is part urban and part pub. Our service was good and the burgers we ordered yummy

Great place! Had breakfast here two days in a row! Ashley greeted us both morning with a big welcome smile! The food was honest good home type cooking. Hot and plentiful. Ashley took care of us efficiently and with such kindness that we observed her doing with her other customers too. The restaurant is in an old downtown building. It's clean and not crowded. Highly recommend!

I am spoiled by the Samatha's in North Canton. I thought this would be of similar quality. Sadly no it's not. I ordered the "grilled crab Benedict" I was thinking it will be a crab cake with crabmeat. But no. This was the imitation crabmeat which turns me off since it's fake crabmeat. I couldn't finish my breakfast and I took a picture of the food to show what I mean. This may be good for Canton locals but to a foodie who has travelled the world, it is not. The orange juice was ordered by my fiance and it tastes like it was made from a frozen can of orange juice concentrate. I wouldn't recommend the coffee either. I am sorry I couldn't write a better review. But the waitress was nice and friendly. It's not their fault that they have a lousy cook in the kitchen. Def not comparable to Samantha's in North Canton.

We reserved a table for six. Arrived at 11:50 a.m.. We had to take our food to go at 1:10 p.m. The French toast "stuffed with strawberries," had none and was topped with a cherry. The staff is nice, but if we had known that they couldn't get the food out in a timely manner sooner, we would have asked to cancel our orders. Unacceptable wait time for lunch hour.

Centrally located in downtown Canton Ohio with street parking. I recommend ordering the biscuits and blueberry pancakes. Both are light, fluffy, and homemade!

In town for business and this place was within walking distance from my hotel. What a hidden gem!!! It's a bar that serves breakfast and it's AMAZING. Don't miss this opportunity to start your day off right. Had the fried zucchini bread French toast stuffed with pumpkin came with eggs and choice of meat. If I find myself in Canton, OH again, you will find me right here!
