Sam Sylk's Chicken & Fish

I decided to show some love and support. I work for CMSD, I was very disappointed in the sides . I order for a party of 10 , I explained tot the young lady on the phone, what we needed. It was not enough sides for our party. The young lady hung up the phone on me , at the maple heights location. Save yourself some time and money . Very upset ... Do better ..

I was talking with a coworker/neighbor and she suggest I try this place. I was pleased at with the service and food. I had the catfish sandwich and substituted the lettuce for Cole slaw. You won't be disappointed .

worse service ever. they take forever no problem waiting over an hour for food. and they will get an attitude if you inquire about your food. the food taste is not seasoned well go someplace else if possible this is the worse fish place ever. and don't go if you have allergies because they fry everything in the same grease

I ordered a fish dinner Friday, Sep 1,2023 by phone. Went to pick it up, there was a group of ladies deciding what to order. They stepped to view the Lunch Menu.I was next in line so I was about to approach the counter when a man approached from the left from Door Dash requesting an order. I stated I was next, both the cashier and the man stated he was from Door Dash and the cashier handed the man an order then stated to me again who the man was.Cashier stated that the ladies were before me wherein the ladies sated they were still deciding.door dash guy was just standing there and I made the comment that "if the cashier was going in order, Door Dash guy jumped the line of 2 customers andI didn't care who he was it wasn't right.I spend money at Sam Sylks 4 times a month and had never been dismissed or treated that way.I informed the cashier I would never patronize the restaurant again nor would I pay for what I ordered.By the way Door Dash man was still there when I left

I usually go hard for this restaurant in Garfield, but I order the shrimp dinner and perch dinner and I'm not sure if they changed cooks, but the food wasn't appealing at all. My husband bit into the fish and grease came out like it was old fish and the shrimp had to much batter.

I ordered three meals and sides on Thursday. We ordered orange roughy, a $20.00 dinner and a chicken/fish meal and a chicken meal with fried okra and green beans. The orange roughy was so overcooked and dry, it could not be eaten. We threw 20.00 in the garbage. The fish and okra from the other order was completely cold. We had to reheat in our air fryer in order to eat. The chicken tenders were ok and the fries that were not cold were ok. There is no way the cook did not see that the roughy was over cooked. It was curled up it was so dry. Our first experience at Sam Sylks and our last.
