Came here on a recent weeknight with my wife and another couple...long story short is that the food was quite good, but the service is being mailed in as they are clearly focusing all efforts on their new Little Italy location. They were out of several food and beverage options, and with only 2 or 3 tables occupied, for it to take as long as it did for each course to arrive was pretty abysmal. Wondering if maybe they should turn this place into a simple takeout only option?Anyways, on to the actual food. Wife ordered a roasted beet salad to start, topped with a tart vinaigrette dressing she really seemed to enjoy. For our dinner meals, we chose a chicken parmesan dish alongside a fungi pizza. The chicken parm was served over linguini (an unusual choice) with a very light marinara sauce, but the flavor of the pounded out chicken breast with sauce and melted cheese was pretty spot on. The fungi pie came loaded with two different kinds of cheese topped with mushrooms, garlic caramelized, onions and some fresh herbs...quite tasty!Pretty sure we will not be returning to this spot, but might try the Little Italy location as it is much closer to our house. Beware of your time constraints if you show up at this Broadview Heights location.

Quiet Tuesday evening with the lights low, questioned if they were open while sitting in the car.So, I went in and there were three tables dining. I was greeted and asked how many were in my party. It was just me and I asked if I could sit at the bar. Yes, where ever you'd like.I had previewed the menu on-line but looked over the hard copy to narrow my decision. Still undecided when the server arrived, I asked for help between my two choices (Coppa Pizza or Hot Margarita Pizza).Server stated her absolute favorite was the Hot Margarita (their menu description - HOT MARGARITA - roasted tomatoes, garlic, Calabrian chilies, hand sliced pepperoni, fresh basil, pecorino romano). The pizzas seemed very similar using "Calabrian Chilies" and roasted tomatoes. So, I went with the suggestion cause there is always next time to try the other pie.Crust was delicious. But, my trouble started with the description of hand sliced pepperoni (I was counting on thicker slices due to the hand slicing and irregular pieces to give punches of flavor). Next, the menu stated Calabrian chilies. This might have been forgotten by the pizza maker but the server offered to get me some on the side. (My expectation of pieces of Calabrian chilies was disappointed by the purée of chilies as a sauce). Although it did offer up some of the spice / heat I was seeking, it had a large punch of vinegar.I know that I may be an exception to the rule in fully reading the menu descriptions and on new to me restaurants reading some background about the place. The claim of fresh, local and handmade, in-house seem to be where I was led off path by my expectations. Will I try them again?? Of course. Maybe I will try one of their pasta dishes or maybe I will try their other location in Little Italy. Just hoping this was a one off and a problem with my expectations being very high.Server was very good. It appeared like only two other people were working during my visit.

Our first and last time at Salted Dough. Incredibly disappointed in our entire experience. The service, number of things they were out of, frozen tap lines, and extremely long wait times-- what a mess. Almost everything we ordered was "out of stock" .. no draft beer, no calamari, no yogurt, no blueberries,no gelato... The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and we sat for over an hour, waiting for our food. I have celiac and my pizza was not gluten free, thank god the server realized this before it was sat down.. had to wait another 30 minutes for that to be fixed.Thursday night is ladies night-- we were told $7 cocktails, 1/2 price app (excluding charcuterie and calamari) and 1/2 off bottles of wine... got our $200 tab and were told that "what we ordered wasn't included in ladies night" !?!? Not mentioned at time of ordering nor does it say "select cocktails" in any of their posted ads..Almost 2.5 hours for one of the absolute worst dinner experiences of our lives. I prefer to eat a frozen pizza at home, before ever returning.

Went on a Thursday at like 6pm and there were only 5 other people there. The space is huge, so only being that few people was a bit awkward.Got the brussel sprouts, Spanish pizza and the potato/chicken pizza - it was all fine. The Brussels was such a small serving. The 10inch pizza is fine for one person. Overall though, the pizzas were thin and surprisingly greasy? While I will give them credit for creativity on toppings, and they tasted decent - I was not overly impressed. If you're in a pinch and need somewhere to go, it would be fine - but I wouldn't rush here

Food- We ordered the 14" Coppa pizza and it was more than enough/just enough for two people. If you're into thin crusted pizza, this is your place to be! Wait time- Salted Dough prides in making their dishes from scratch, which I understand takes time. But placing an order over the phone order for a pick up should not leave us waiting 40 minutes AFTER the pick up time. I'm not sure what establishment this kind of behavior is acceptable at, but it's certainly not in my book.Food was good but I was disappointed in the wait time of this local restaurant.

what an experience...since we hadn't been to Salted Dough we decided it'd be the place to go for dinner tonight. upon arrival we were greeted and seated then informed there was no draft beer, for some reason. they were out of meatballs. they were out of Brussel sprouts and Bolognese sauce. additionally, they were out of Diet Coke*. great start right? in fact, i looked up at the tv over the bar at one point and the channel on the TV was also unavailable. miraculously they were then NOT out of Brussel sprouts but we didn't want appetizers so...Danielle ordered the eggplant pizza only to be told they were out of eggplant in addition to everything else. but then they weren't. so she got that and had a hard time recognizing the eggplant anywhere on the pizza, though she still thought it tasted good. i ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and Calabrian chili pizza and it was also quite good. however, i kept tasting olives and i didn't ask for olives. i don't mind the taste of olives but that's hardly the point. i don't know if they're in the sauce or if it was olives that got mixed into other ingredients in the kitchen accidentally. since Danielle found several capers in her pizza - which also weren't listed - i worry about things like food allergies. customers need to know what's in their sauces, ragus, etc. so they aren't ordering shit that could kill them.our server must have grown tired of our comments about them being out of so many things because she barely came back to our table except to refill my iced tea and never asked how our pizzas were. to be fair, i felt bad that she had to relay all of that to us.overall, we really liked the food we were able to order.personally, i didn't care for the tables and chairs w/ the fake distressed look. i mean, just paint the chairs and leave 'em be. but that's just me. would we go back? maybe. will a restaurant that can't serve a number of things on their menu still be around if/when we decide to go back? that's the better question. apparently they're supposedly opening a 2nd location and can't even prep enough food to get through a regular work day at one restaurant. *by the way, we were offered canned beer instead of draft but since i didn't want beer i asked for Diet Coke and was told they were out of syrup. however, i remembered seeing a cooler on the way in. on our way out i looked again and verified inside that cooler were cans of Diet Coke. weird i couldn't get a can or 3 of that.

The quality of the pizza is some of the best around. Growing up in Philadelphia and Southern NJ, we had access to amazing pizza. This place comes very close if not better (crust). Nice bar, good prices and kid friendly. Service always pleasantly efficient. Atmosphere is retro but works for a pizza restaurant. I highly recommend this place for pizza fare. Our go to place when we are in or around Brecksville and looking for good pizza!

Man I was excited to try this place and it was just awful! The "salted dough" aka bread for the table (not free) was burnt to a crisp! We ordered the burrata, but they ran out so we got mozzarella with CANNED tomatoes (or seemingly so). Unfortunately the entree was worse. The "gnocchi" was more like a doughy, soggy spatzle, contained what seemed to be a full bag of frozen peas and burnt ham instead of prosciutto. Wine selection also comparable to corked vinegar. Felt bad bc our waitress was sweet, but take your business elsewhere.
