We stopped by Saha when they were a pop up at 78th street studio third Friday - open studio night. We tried their baklava, za'atar, fatayer, and kahk. All were delicious! My husbands favorite was the fatayer - filled with spinach and feta. The bread was soft and pillowy and the fillings were plentiful with great flavor. The za'atar was my favorite- the best I can describe is that it was like the most fantastic savory bread like donut (for reference- this girl loves donuts). That sounds weird but it's wonderful - take away all the sweetness and leave a delicious soft bread topped with savory spices/nuts and olive oil. Mmm.

I tried a couple of the offerings from this bakery - spinach & feta fatayer, and baklava. In a word: delectable! SO fresh, SO good. Looking forward to trying the za'atar next time.

The za'atar bread and baklava were AMAZING! Stopped at their stand at the Tremont Farmers Market (Lincoln Park), they were very kind and friendly and the food speaks for itself. Delicious!
