Excellent offerings for fruit and veggies as well as syrups and jams and other awesome foodstuffs. They do have it well marked as to where each item comes from (not all is grown locally at Sage's, but the stuff they import is amazing, especially the peaches from Georgia and North Carolina). The prices are very high compared to other local fruit/veggie stands, but I have never had a problem with their produce.

First time visiting and it was a pleasant experience. People were friendly and welcoming. I went there on a mission to get some of the new Evercrisp apples and they didn't disappoint! Left out with one peck of apples, jar of maple sugar, and strawberry banana jam.

We have gone to sages for years. On our anniversary from the first time my now fiancé asked me out, we have gone out to Sages every year (that would be for 8 years). I lived in Lakewood until last year and we now joke about how it use to be this big day trip we'd make every year to go out to sages. Funny enough, we now live twenty minutes from there! They have amazing apples! All different kinds and have a calendar of when each type of Apple will be ready to be picked, cleaned, and sold at their store. Within their store too they have a whole shelf of pre made baking mixes such as for pie crust, bread, or cookies that is amazing. They also have tons of homemade jam and apple butters that I stocked up on for the family every year. The only thing that is making me not give five stars are the prices. They tend to be high but even though I say that, it doesn't stop us from going their multiple times a year!

One step into this little orchard and I'm sent flying back to the days of being a little kid in the fall, picking apples off the shelf and devouring them. I also remember my Mom telling me to quit eating so many, or I was going to get sick. It's just a little shop, but the local produce is great. Peaches, plums, veggies, grapes and tons of varieties of apples, all grown right on site. It doesn't stop there, either. Popcorn kernels, jams, cider, pumpkins, gourds and a hellava lot more. But the best part, their very own pickles! Choose from garlic or traditional kosher dill, these ginormous cukes of wonder are beyond tasty... and still in their barrels! Not a ton of activities for kids, but still super fun. They allow for samples of every fruit they sell, which translates to heaven in child-talk. What doesn't translate to heaven is the port-o-potty situation. I know, it sounds prissy, but damn do I hate these things! Can't I just use the restrooms inside?Would I say it's worth westsiders to drive all the way out to Chardon? That's a really long drive... But I seriously love this place. It might be because I've been coming here since childhood with my Mom, but it's worth checking out at least once. Viva la local produce!

Absolutely love this place! Out of all the Apple cider places. Sages has the best!!! If you like a thicker more natural apple cider. This is the place to go. They don't serve donuts which is an fortunate. But their produce is fantastic!

We just happened to drive by this adorable place. I had to turn around and visit. My biggest mistake, I didn't buy more things! The Carmel Apple was delicious! The honey crisp apple was so fresh and crunchy! The buckeye popcorn was amazing. Buy a larger sized cider! It was so good! I haven't opened the apple butter yet. This is a stop you can't miss!
