Stopped in and enjoyed a lovely meal with my husband. We both ordered the Mumbai Mixed Grille which came with Chicken, Shrimp, Seekh Kabob on a sizzling skillet with peppers, Tikka Masala and Rice. We also added an order of garlic naan. The flavors were very delicious and our meat was cooked just like we like it. The portion size was generous as well. Our server checked on us frequently and the ambiance was welcoming and inviting. Overall it was a very lovely meal and I would come back and order the same thing again!

We went here last night with some friends and it definitely satisfied my Indian food craving! My favorite dish is typically saag paneer, but because it wasn't on the menu, I ended up ordering the Palak paneer, which was really good! I ordered medium spice and honestly could have used a little more spice. Good to know for next time! My partner got the chicken tikka masala and we shared the vegetable pakodas. Both were super delicious!!! I also got to try some of the biryani my friend ordered and it was so good with quite a kick to it! The service was quick and the place was very clean and had chill/casual vibes. Most importantly, there was a TON of parking in the back. Overall would recommend and come back!

I was in town and went to the Saffron Patch for the second time. It had been a couple of years since my last visit. However, I knew that, like last time, I would be getting the chicken saag because I'd really enjoyed it previously. This restaurant is quaint, and there is parking behind the shopping center it's in. We went about an hour before closing. We knew what we wanted so we were able to order quickly. We split the masala potatoes which were like flat french fries that had a tasty dipping sauce. I was happy to note the chicken saag, once again, didn't disappoint. I would give them four stars except that we felt very rushed starting about 30 minutes out from closing. I get starting to prepare to shut things down in the background, but chairs going up on tables on either side of you while you're eating is a bit much. Hopefully it was just a one off experience. The food, however, was good! If I lived in Cleveland, I could definitely see it being a frequent to go order location. I would still go back again on a visit.

Very disappointing. Spent $16 each for three different curries(Kashmiri potatoes, malai kofta, shahi paneer) and you guys used the exact same sauce for all three and the sauce was some bland green mush that was completely inedible. Most Indian restaurants that tend to use the same sauce for all their gravies at least use a more palatable orange tikka masala. I have no clue what this bland green mush was. This was the worst Indian food experience in Cleveland by a long shot, made worse by the non trivial prices.

Solid Indian food nestled in Northern Ohio! I can definitely see myself stopping by or ordering from here in the future when I'm craving Indian cuisine. I had been hearing many great things about Saffron Patch for quite a while, so I had relatively lofty expectations coming into the restaurant. As a result, I was pleasantly surprised when these expectations were more or less met (at least with regards to what I ordered!).In terms of the food itself:I highly recommend the Maharaja Mix Grill. Both the seafood and the meat were cooked extremely well, and the flavors worked well together. I asked for the second highest level of spice, and it turned out to be strong but not overpowering. The portion size was more than adequate (seafood included), and with rice and naan on the side I was able to take some home as well. One of my friends ordered the Palak Paneer, and unfortunately he wasn't as complimentary. He mentioned that the portion size was small, only having a few cubes of paneer with the rest composed of sauce. I was able to try a small bite and the taste was definitely there, but I can't speak to his experiences otherwise. With regards to the service:My interactions with the staff were very positive - our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and was more than willing to give recommendations on specific dishes. He was attentive to our water refills but didn't hover. No complaints here.Overall, I had a positive experience with Saffron Patch. I can't feel justified giving this place five stars just yet because my friend didn't have the greatest experience with his dish, but I would definitely consider coming back.

This place was a recommendation of my coworker, who married into an Indian family. And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! The food was fresh and flavorful and came over in a timely manner. The two people working (they're still short staffed from COVID) we're friendly and attentive. We tried the vegetable samosas which were crispy on the outside and stuffed on the inside. For an entree we did chicken makhani which is creamy and my new go to, then lamb vindaloo. We also got a few naans and you can't go wrong. Will come back anytime I am in town!

Since we moved in last August we have ordered from this restaurant countless times. We then started to have issues with the staff, no sauce was with our order of papadum and the list goes on. The last straw was disappointing, they forgot to pack our chair tea we paid $9 for. The fact that not even Starbucks charges this much for tea is insane to me. We won't be back anytime soon, and we will look for a better establishment to support

Quick Review:The service was really nice and the environment was comfortable and homey. The food quantity was small and the taste was nothing unique. However, it did taste and feel very authentic. Long Review: I came into Saffron Patch with extremely high expectations as I heard it was one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Multiple people had recommended it to me and I love Indian food. During the first interaction with the staff, everyone seemed very nice and they were very accommodating to our party of 5. We went at 7:20 which was not too crowded and they seated us immediately as we arrived. The manager brought our waters and was the one that led us to our table and he was very friendly and made sure that everyone was comfortable. The waiter was also very kind giving us recommendations on the menu and making sure to check in for water or extra rice. Now in terms of the food, I was underwhelmed. We each ordered individual dishes. I had the Palak Paneer and my friends ordered dishes such as Chicken Makhani and Chicken Tikka Masala. The dish was small which I was accustomed to but there were only 6 cubes of paneer (yes, I counted). The rest was just sauce! I was very disappointed. The taste was nothing exceptional for my specific dish. However, the other dishes that I tried tasted very authentic but still had small quantities. I think the rice may have been my favorite. And it is unlimited!!!!The best dish that I tried was the Maharaja Mix Grill (picture included). That had excellent taste and the quantity was worth the price. I would highly recommend this dish if you like assorted meats and seafood prepared in an Indian style. To finish this review, I only wish the taste and quantity of my specific dish was better. One thing I was really happy with was that the manager came and brought on the house rice pudding! Tasted amazing. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

This has been my favorite local Indian restaurant for a decade or longer. My husband made a reservation for our 10 year anniversary last night, and I was so excited to get my all-time favorite- Lamb chops. I've tried them elsewhere, but no one has the right flavors. They are always seared perfectly and served on a bed of grilled peppers and onion, steaming. I always ask for them to be made "Indian spicy" because I know there is a different spice scale for those unfamiliar with the level of heat of some Indian dishes. What I was served was unseared, barely cooked lamb with little to no seasoning AT ALL, and raw vegetables. Completely raw vegetables. My husband commented that the vegetables were uncooked and there wasn't the typical sizzle and "hot plate" warning. He put a lot of effort into making our evening special, so I didn't say anything to the server, but this as bordering on gross. I politely ate two chops and asked for the rest to go. The servers typically would package food up, but he just tossed a box on the table. I know that is an extra that we enjoyed there, but there was a very noticeable change in the atmosphere. It kinda felt like a fast food restaurant. I just now grilled the vegetables, seasoned the lamb (I unfortunately don't know what combination the USED to use), and seared them for a much better lunch than my anniversary dinner. This is so sad! What happened since the move? Why has quality plummeted? Why didn't the server say anything when he saw raw food come from the kitchen? I'll note also, as a finally snub, we weren't asked if we would like another drink or dessert. They just wanted us out, I guess.

There carry out is excellent, good size portions. You never have to wait for your order it's ready when I arrive no matter how large the order. Not like so many places after covet. The food is still good, tastes like the old location. It's a bit dark, I miss the light that the former location carried. I also miss the buffet. And the spoon of fennel as I exit. The service is dry not very friendly. Would get better tips if they visited your table more often. The powder room limits one of your best customers that I know of for sure from dining in. Despite all of this. I still give 4s. Good Indian food reasonable prices.
