Atmosphere - Very good. The restaurant is in the lower level of the Music Box Supper Club. It is located on the west side of The west side on the Warehouse District and has a nice view of the river and the boats passing by. There is a larger outdoor patio. Inside there is a small bar that seats about 6 -8 people. The main attraction is the live music that is accommodated by a relatively small stage that can hold 6. -8 musicians. The area adjacent to the stage hold at least 20 four-tops that leave hardly any room between tables. There is another level a bit further (yet still very close to the stage) that holds another 10 or more four-tops.Service - inconsistent. On this particular evening our server did a very good job, especially considering the number of tables assigned to her. She was very pleasant as well. Patience is the key at the restaurant. The setup is very challenging for service. Food - very good. The menu is extremely limited and a bit odd. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries to keep it simple. The burger was served hot and the temperature exactly as ordered. It was flavorful a d the bun was fresh.Overall Value - very good. Prices are reasonable, especially given the location and being a live music venue.

Absolutely love this place. The layout the location right on the water, and food was amazing. Wide variety of dishes perfectly prepared. I had the short ribs which were tender and coated in a fantastic sauce. We also had the baked brie appitizer which was spectacular. The band was the Cash box Kings who were fantastic. The room was large enough to accommodate a good sized dance floor that was utilized by many. The sound quality was great not to loud for the size of the crowd and room. The service was also great. Attentive but not pushy. All in all an excellent night out at a reasonable price.

We came for the Evil Ways show and arrived at 6:30 for drinks and dinner. We loved the atmosphere when we entered and knew the music would be amazing in such a small venue. We got a table for 2 and our server came for drink orders where we both ordered drinks with Absolute vodka. After 15-20 minutes she returned to say they had no Absolute. Ugh! We agreed on another vodka and it took 10 minutes before our drink arrived. We weren't in a hurry, but that's just crazy. The menu is very limited and has many odd items of which we had no interest. We ordered the risotto balls appetizer, which arrived in a timely manner. They were very good, but only 3 per order. My husband ordered the lobster bisque and it arrived hot and tasty. The puff pastry on top was very difficult to cut apart so he ended up not eating much of that. We ordered cheeseburgers, medium well, and they took a long time to arrive. Sadly, when they did arrive, they were very pink inside, but I wanted to be done before the music started so we ate them. Not at all my favorite way of eating ground meat, but it was ok. It was huge and we were both stuffed. After dinner we ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and a Malbec. I could see the server looking at the glasses the bartender had poured as she wasn't sure which was which. Instead of asking the bartender, she just gave us each one, and of course she didn't have it correct. I know my wine, and it's sad the server doesn't. All in all, I really liked the atmosphere, food was just ok, as was service. Would definitely come back for a show, but probably not to eat as there aren't many items that appealed to me.8/27/18. We have been back many times for concerts and continue to love the venue. This past Friday we did have appetizers, and the tempura shrimp was excellent. Drinks came quickly and our server was attentive.

Great show Travis Haddix 1-25-19. Opener went long and he went short but I won my free tix online in the bar drawing. His warmup was so high energy I thought the whole show would be buddy guy like. More like BB King, what a smooth cat. He's got a big following here. Nice guild bluesbird & tight band. Full house packed to the gills on 20° night. Parking $5 up close or $6 by the Nautica. Of course I went with the $6 bc sometimes there's nobody at the till Manning that entrance ha. Completely full house. Ended up at the middle 2 seats of a community table. They were jammed up, me & the bro are so wide we took all the space lol. We're not fat we're just linebacker size. I hate sitting at those group tables like that I felt like I was at our neighborhood assoc. meeting. I don't think they have any private tables tho. It's a good room but loud. I use earplugs now after years of loud music. 2 burgs and 4 rounds of beers $96. Pretty expensive but I mean ur captive there for 90 min. Noticed the rest of our 8 table didn't eat. Or binge drink. 3 stars I'd go back for the Hawaiian show in feb if i could sit on my own. Of course I'll try for freebies again. All in all for a crazy busy atmosphere they run a tight ship.

If you are going to a concert at the Music Box Supper Club, this restsurant is a convenient option for eating before the show as it is located inside the club on the lower level. The menu is more extensive & $$$ and less casual then the one upstairs (I have eaten at both). Seems like you need a ticket for a show to dine here, but not sure. Reservations are accepted and easily made through Open Table. There is ample parking for $5 or valet for $10. If you get there before the lot is full, paying for valet is a waste of an extra $5. The menu keeps it safe by offering selections that are familiar, easy to pronounce and basic. The execution can be a mixed bag, so your dish may or may not be good. This time, I got lucky with the Lake Erie Perch, my friends weren't so lucky. The perch was breaded in panko, which made it especially crunchy. It was simple, local and very good. There were several small filets which made it especially filling. The Cole slaw was not so good. Heavy in vinegar. For preservation? There was consensus on the fries being good. My friend described the salmon as dry & bland, mash potatoes as cold and stringy asparagus. But, the service was fast and friendly. :-)Being on the Cuyahoga River, with large viewing windows enhances the dining experience. There are 2 dining levels. The lower level provides for up close viewing of any performance happening. The music can be loud if you want to have a conversation. Big bar and good drinks is a plus. To top things off, a quick stroll is always nice.

Great atmosphere!! There was a live band there playing which was nice and entertaining. It was pretty dark in there when we had dinner so we couldn't get a great visual of what the food looks like.. ordered the surf and turf for dinner and lobster pierogies and pork belly for appetizer..Lobster pierogies and pork belly were dry. I couldn't even taste the lobster in the pierogi and the flavor was very bland. The pork belly was delicious and tender with some bites but other bites were super dry and overly salted. The surf and turf was beautifully presented! The steak was cooked perfectly how I liked it, leaving it juicy with every bite. It was beautifully seasoned as well so nothing was needed or added for flavor... The mashed potatoes unfortunately tasted and felt like I was eating instant mashed potatoes. I didn't bother to eat the asparagus because it looked and felt over cooked. The lobster was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Butter was served on the side for dipping purposes.Overall, the food was inconsistent but the service was great! I felt like everything was a bit overpriced for what they serve, but the scenery was romantic and the live music helped me rate this place a 4 star! Would definitely come back here for drinks and live music!

Late night dining after an event upstairs. With the band playing it was hard to hold a conversation, but the food was pretty solid!I started my meal with the lobster bisque. It came served in a white crock and was covered in a flaky pastry dough. The soup itself was slightly sweet (as you'd expect) and had a significant portion of lobster contained within. A shot of sherry might have really "jazzed" it up, but the flavor was robust and quite good. For a main dish, I chose the potato crusted salmon. I came with a side of grilled asparagus and rice. The fish itself was cooked perfectly and the potatoes on the exterior was lightly grilled as well. The accompanying horseradish dill cream sauce was a perfect pairing with this dish. Was not expecting much from this place at first glance, and other than the slightly high prices I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal.

Best Sunday brunch deal in town. $18 gives you a variety of breakfast foods, salads, fruit and breads. Known for its Eggs Benedict. Yum. Make your own burrito. Nice. Coffee, etc, extra. Full bar service with specialty Bloody Mary's starting at $10. Service was attentive. Then, listen to the band for a few dollars more. Excellent way to relax and hear good music and have yummy food. The wide view out the windows is worth it all. Nice occasion for out-of-town visitors.

We went for Michael Sonata's Frank Sinatra tribute and we were all pleasantly surprised! There was a group of 8 of us and not once did I feel as if our server was too busy for us even with all his other tables. Service was slower than normal, but that was ok since we went for the live entertainment. We started off with the pork belly appetizer, which was crisped to perfection. The lobster bisque was topped with a pastry shell, but was thicker than what I am used to. Though it was a decent soup, I would probably not get it again. My mom RAVED about her house salad and said she would return solely to eat the salad! For the main course, I had the lobster & potato pierogis. These were really good, but I wish I could've tasted more lobster in there. For dessert my parents had the apple "cheesecake" and really enjoyed that. Overall, I would go back to Rusty Anchor, but the entertainment would be what drew me back more than anything.
