Russell's BBQ

Take my money Russell! Probably the best BBQ in NWPA! Picked up some catering. Employees were friendly and easy to work with. Original sauces were awesome. Good smoked meats and tasty sides. All compliments from our party!

My son and I were on a delivery to a school in the area and decided to stop in. The gentleman at the counter was super helpful since it was our first visit. He explain the menu, best approach to the menu, and also which sauces were available. My son got the special which was a pulled pork Ruben which was pretty much a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on rye bread with thousand Island dressing. His side of choice was tater tot's.I had trouble deciding on sides with my ribs. So, the gentleman behind the counter suggested the side dish sampler. Could not have been happier! The ribs were delicious, tender, and fall of the bone. The Berry Garcia sauce is the best! The side dish sampler came with coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. Entirely too much food but each was delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty on brand for a bbq place. Casual, clean, and help yourself drinks, flatware, and sauces!

I did not expect BBQ this good HERE. It's not in-Texas good, or in-StL good, or in-Carolina good, but it's in-Linesville amazing! Got the Doomsday - the 12-person meal, the first one they've *ever* served for eat-in. It satisfied, plus a good amount extra. I somewhat of a meat-smoker myself, and not too shabby if I do say so. So, my measure is always just in comparison to my own...Ribs: better than mine, pretty perfect. Pulled pork: As good as mine, but different. Very good. Brisket: A little dry. Then again mine tends to be dry too. So... about as good as mine, but that's not necessarily great. Chicken: Very tasty, very dry. Turkey: I've never done it, me likey. Sides were generous and very tasty as well. We sampled all the sauces, and they were good but I'd prefer a little more HEAT. So, all-in-all I'd TOTALLY recommend this if you're in the Pymatuning area! It's worth maybe even a 30-40 minute drive. We don't get to this area often, but if we do we will definitely be back!

Best bbq I've had, sides are average but the meat and sauces are kicking ....... Very plain sides..... just get the meat

At long last a great BBQ restaurant in Northern PA. We lack BBQ in the north and our Southern cousins would rate this high. Delicious!

best dam bbq east of the mississippi. friendly owners & staff.they go the extra mile for their customers. check them out when your in the area you wont be disappointed

Totally off the beaten path, but an absolute MUST have!! Not only were the meats fantastic (nothing dry!), but the sides were excellent! We did take out, as we were driving thru, but the inside looked clean and nice. Service was fast and friendly!

Very clean, great service and the most amazing pulled pork dinner! You can choose your sauce. I recommend the Sasquach sauce. Scrumptious! Will definitely be back!

Delicious bbq. Will definitely be going back! Love the brisket and the sauce's. You will not be disappointed!
