Rudy's Quality Meats

Rudy's is the butcher that I've been going to since I was a kid. Not much has changed! They still have that warm, inviting atmosphere. That wonderful smell of something good and homemade in the air. They still do almost everything in house, right there in front of you. And the employees are still really pleasant to deal with. If you want quality, you go to Rudy's. And don't forget about their sausages! Grateful that these guys are still around. 1000% recommended!

Rudy's is one of best butcher shops you will ever visit. It's a family business that has been in business for almost a 100 years.The meat is top quality and the staff is the best around.

This place is a classic, multi generation butcher shop. All of the meats are high quality and their sausages are homemade and smoked on premises! Custom cuts available ..I just picked up a nice pork belly and it was lean and delicious ! Prime rib is also one of our favorites !!!

My favorite place to get fresh Italian sausage made in house. This is where I get baby back ribs and bone-in chicken breast for my grill outs and I also love to serve their perogies as a side. They can order special cuts of meat from their supplier for you.. like whole pork belly, for example. I was thrilled to find fresh lamb chops here, they saved me the trip to west end market to get them! Fabulous marinated overnight in Italian dressing and yogurt mixed with turmeric, grilled with rosemary and enjoyed hot off the grill! Make sure that yummy lamb fat is a bit charred.My last Cleveland Yelp until I return to the great state of Ohio. Try this recipe, and try their Italian hots.Side note.. don't boil sausages. (This goes for breakfast sausages too) Grill or put them on a pan on medium low heat and patiently wait for it to get to full and proper temperature so that none of the good seasonings inside is lost to water. Sorry I kept things to myself sometimes. I selfishly did so with this place. This was my quarantine hotspot when I was learning how to throw down in the kitchen. Now that I am gone, I bequeath this secret to you. That, and the fact that I only like their blackberry fry pies, and that you should nuke it for ten seconds...then hide in a corner where you don't have to share it, and don't settle for strawberry or raspberry, it's just blackberry or bust.

I will no longer be driving to the West Side Market for meats...as Rudy's has stolen my heart and my husbands stomach so win win. Last week I had to make homemade meatballs and sauce two days apart - they were just so fresh and delicious because of this mans meats! The week before I made the best Mississippi roast ever...ever. And their chicken sausage links in their freezer...so delish. Shop anywhere else and I can't vouch for the freshness of their meats - are they a bargain no - but QUALITY is not always cheap - that's a bargain...bargains not so delicious. I can attest to the roasts, the ground veal, the ground chuck, the ground pork, the steaks, the frozen chicken sausage link maple and chipotle - soooo sooo good.

Rudy's is the real deal. Clean, nicely merchandosed frozen section and meat case. What I thought was cute was when I asked for four, 6 oz filets the lady behind the counter turned around to one of the butchers in the back, relayed my order, and out came just what I asked for. I also picked up some ground chuck. I could have bought way more. Their selection is fantastic. And I agree with other Yelpers....friendly staff. This will now be my go-to po lace since Giovanni's closed.

The best polish sausage ever made. Wish they would ship to New York City and Long Island. Lots of people would love this product.
