Roman Fountain Pizza

I have tried their takeout twice now. Nothing crazy in terms of quality or taste. The value and service is really what I like about Roman Fountain. I take a star away because if you want very high quality Pizza go to Angelos. For a house party get Roman Fountain, you and your guests will not be disappointed. The boneless wings are also spectacular. I will be eating here again.

I thought about not writing this review. I'm afraid once the news gets out there about Roman Fountains lunch special, they'll become too popular and too busy and I'll have to wait hours to get mine. Alas, this selfish Yelper will share the secret.Guys.$8.65 for a 9" one- topping pizza, a side salad, and a 20 oz bottled beverage. Not just any pizza- this is fantastic, classic pizza. The sauce is rich and authentic but not too sweet or spicy. I still can't get over the price.The salad was greens heaped with lots of toppings including pepperoni and cheese. The service was friendly and pizza was ready right in time. I can't stop won't stop raving about Roman Fountains lunch special.

Roman Fountain came highly suggested from the Lakewood community via a local Facebook page so I was happy to give them a try! My partner and I ordered take out of an extra large pizza, half with pineapple (make fun of me all you want but it's forever my favorite pizza topping), and the other half with mushroom and onion. We ordered around 6pm on a Sunday and it was ready in 35 minutes. The pizza was quite lovely, really looked like a pizza, haha. The dough is thick and I was so happy to see that it was cooked through perfectly and the bottom wasn't burnt at all. My big complaint is that there were not nearly enough sauce for my taste. I'd definitely order extra sauce next time. My husband loved this pizza and we'll definitely be going back again soon because this is the sort of pizza that really satisfies a Midwesterner's pizza cravings! Yum!

So many years ago, maybe it was a bad night or I was on my period... I don't know... but I didn't like their pizza and went to other places.What the hell was I thinking??! Did it take me a pandemic to get back here? Hmmm... naw, it was the launch.I had ordered a Destroyer XL Pizza for the (now scrubbed 5/27 attempt) SpaceX Launch. I'm that space geek, so no judging. Holy HELL was that an awesome pizza. So the Destroyer is the deluxe then add even more - banana peppers (love those thingies). Kitchen sink pizza? Yeah, kinda like that! I think Elon Musk should know about this place- or even better, Tom Hanks. Do astronauts have pizza in space? This... would be the pizza. It's perfect.It made me feel better after the launch was scrubbed. Pure comfort pizza.I will tell you, I know that they are extremely supportive and generous to the community. So I'm now a Roman Fountain lifer and I can't wait to try other things on their menu as they seem to really have it covered for everybody! My veggie kidlets too.That reminds me about my leftover slice... bye!

Roman Fountain is awesome. A true Lakewood classic that has been around since I can remember. Ordered a pizza tonight and my mind was blown. I also like that they decorate for the seasons.

Honestly, the blandest pizza and cheese sticks I've ever had in my life. Absolutely no flavor to speak of.

Double Play is awesome!. Side of fettuccine is also a great option!.Good service good quality good deals!. Good good good good good good food!.

Really disappointed in the chicken parmesan, it was made with a chicken patty. I swear it used to be homemade.

Did I love this pizza? No. Maybe one day, this place might grow on me. It's a little hole in the wall, but I wouldn't call it a hidden gem or love at first bite. It was pizza. Cheap, bread, sauce, and cheese. You get what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less.

Awesome meatball sandwich and pizza is always excellent God bless you guys I love that you post on Facebook when you are going to be closed it honestly makes a difference.... thanks for being awesome
