Rito's Bakery & Deli

It was my first time here, and so glad I came to try their paczki. First, I was surprised to see so many different types of food items available for purchase. Rito's is part bakery and part deli. I wish I would have had more time to shop because there is a lot to see here. I noticed while I was waiting to be assisted, that their cannoli was featured on Food Network. I plan to order cannoli the next time I visit here. The person who assisted me was super nice and helpful. She packaged my paczki very carefully and thanked me for my shopping there. Had a paczki when I got home. Yummy! I really liked the marshmallow one. The filling was so good compared to a couple of other places I've purchased paczki. While the filling was super good, the shell/donut part wasn't quite as good as another local place. But, it was still a fantastic paczki! I really enjoyed the marshmallow one I had when I got home, as well as one I ate the next day. The paczki were just as delicious the second day. My family also enjoyed the paczki from Rito's! I didn't get to try any of the other flavors I brought home because everyone else gobbled them up. It gives me a good reason to go back to Rito's. I'm going to allow more time the next visit so I can buy more paczki along with other food items.

Tried various cake slice samples.....if overly sweet icing, little dry cake, and bland flavors are your thing, this is your place If you've ever been to Ocelot Cafe or Fox in the Snow Bakery, you would know what to reference for qualityStaff is nice and place is clean but it's just too average and plain. Just being honest. I think it's perfect for grandmothers from Parma who are looking for dessert for their rigatoni, freezer veggies, and applesauce dinner.

Every year I have to source banana cream pies for my siblings birthday. This year I tried 3 different bakeries. This one as the furthest from my house but I had to try this place. I placed the order in advance for the pie. Along with the pie I purchased a piece of cascade cake ( Great cake that many places get wrong). Good: They have a lot optionsBad: I would have bought more items but there were gnats all over inside the display case. I don't know about you but I literally CANNOT.The cascade cake was wrapped so I went ahead and got it. My sibling told me it was a terrible rendition.I gave the pie to my brother on his birthday. He tasted and said it was horrendous. He went as far to say the people who made it should not be in business. I tasted it and I concur. I will never return to this bakery. Started getting takeout sandwiches and am impressed with the quality. Just seeing the generous amount of roasted red peppers they put on my Napolitano was very pleasing.

Wow is all you can say when you walk in to this place. There was desserts everywhere. Cookies, pastries, pies, cakes, even coffees and espressos. There was individual slices for those who only wanted to try a piece or could not eat a whole one. You can even get some regular foods there. They have an area on the second floor where you can eat in if you would like. The staff was very friendly. They did not try to rush you out. They even do wedding cakes. They have cake designs on display of many styles.

We chose Rito's to make our cake for our wedding a few weeks ago and we are so glad we did! While at the Strongsville bridal show, we won a free gigantic cannoli and then shortly after they had a cake tasting where we fell in love with the cassata cake. We had a pretty specific idea for what we wanted our cake to look like and after sitting with one of the ladies that day to go over our details, she assured us they could achieve what we were looking for and the price was well in our budget. A few days before the wedding I was able to drop off some items we wanted to add as accents to the cakes along with pictures of how I wanted it arranged. When we saw our cake the day of our wedding, we were thrilled at how on point it was to what we had asked for and just simply beautiful. In addition, everyone raved about how good the cake was! The cannoli cake of course was a hit as well, several people took pictures with the empty gigantic cannoli at the end of the night and everyone who got a cannoli said they were absolutely delicious! My only regret is not ordering a second cannoli cake bc of how amazing it was! Thank you Rito's for helping us have the most perfect wedding day!

Ordered a cake for my moms birthday picked it up didn't really inspect it also grabbed some other things got home to find I was over charged by one pizza dough because I only got 2 I only got 1-2 of everything and was charged for 3 of something. And when we went to cut the cake found the side to look like this (photo below) the cake tasted amazing! The flowers did have a artificial taste but over all it was amazing!

Rito's bakery is a nice little place to get some delicious desserts and you can also get cheese and deli food. From the outside of the building it's looks huge but the inside is quite small but lots of desserts to choose from. I have a strong love for Cannolis and they have those there! A nice filling and the shells are great, when you taste a bite they still stay intact. I also bought a container of buttermilk Angel Wings and my significant other bought a large chocolate chip cookie, and by large I mean larger than the size of a person's head! Workers were nice, and the food is good! Would come again.

I have bought several things from them because they were supposed to have the "best bakery". I wanted a fruit cake and called to find out when they would have them. The lady said they had the best fruit cake around. The cost was $30.00. The cake had very little candied fruit, no whole pecans on top. It had 4 candied cherries on top. This cake was so dry!!!!!!! When I tried to cut it, it just fell apart and the crumbly pieces were just NOT what a good fruit cake should be. I will NOT be going back there for any bakery of any kind. I never have good luck there and they are pretty pricey .

The tiramisu, and potato salad tastes worse than what you would buy off the shelf anywhere else. The tiramisu was like a brick. I'm glad I did not buy anything else.
