Rude staff, thankfully we have better options and are not dependent on them. My first experience being so horrible, will keep this place only for emergencies.

Westside people looking for Indian groceries, need look no farther! Rimi's grocery could be your go to store! I'm a regular here, and could find almost everything that I need. Couple of uncommon items that I was looking for, which too I found it here were whole turmeric and purboil rice. They have fresh produce too, limited option but works well for us. Although the name suggests bakery and grocers and gifts, they are mostly grocers then comes bakery and then gifts. As I dont have a sweet tooth, I go here for groceries. Never looked for any gifts though. The store is clean and organized. Friendly staff.

A Jewel in the Crown . . . here in Westlake! This "Jewel" isn't Great Britain's India from the past, but a modern, bright, and spacious shop in Westlake. From the friendly, welcoming proprietors to the vast selection of foods and sprinkling of giftware---including the cutest ever Swarovski crystal oyster and pearl---it's well worth visiting.Per their website, Rimi's is the first Indian store of it's kind in Cleveland, offering bakeries, groceries, and gift items. They're also the exclusive Cleveland retailer of Roopak brand spices and pickles (spicy relishes). Chutney (spicy fruit or tomato relishes) are stocked, too.Whether you already enjoy eating Indian foods, or have never tried this cuisine but are curious about it, you will enjoy looking through their expansive cooler/freezer and well-stocked shelves. They also offer fresh (daily) produce at the rear of the store, and several varieties of fresh and colorful mithai (sweets) in their inviting bakery case. Asked if I'd like to try one to sample, I chose the yellow and bright green pistachio-filled that was in a cylindrical shape. It was quite good---reminded me of marzipan. Naan (bread) is available frozen, refrigerated, and non-refrigerated, and they carry over 15 rices, including Tilda brand, my favorite basmati.Among many vegetarian products are: eggless tea cakes, cookies, decorated layer cakes, cupcakes and puff pastries. Their full-size potato/pea and paneer masala puffs are offered daily, but for other choices confirm what they have available for purchase beforehand, since some items are baked to order. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * For complete list of bakery and pricing, pull up their website. www.indianbakersngrocers.com? Are you a vegetarian, but have never tried Indian foods ? You must try it. This is a whole new world of flavors. Pick a few prepared savory dishes and enjoy something completely different---and healthy, too. And if you aren't a vegetarian, but new to this cuisine, because many Indian dishes can very easily complement poultry, meat, or fish, begin by trying them as side dishes. All Indian foods are best accompanied with rice or naan---or both---and a small serving of pickle or chutney.

Most folks think the best Indian grocery store is in Parma, but there's a hidden gem in Westlake - Rimi's. The staff are very friendly and helpful - always eager to please and help. They are always well-stocked, but in case you don't find something (like say, a specific fresh vegetable instead of its frozen pack), they are happy to order it for you. They are probably the only store which has fresh Indian/Bengali sweets, which are just out of this world. Try their gulab jamuns, and also the kadam kheer. Their snacks (samosa, dhokla, bhajji) are all fantastic. They also get fresh home-made chappatis every alternate day. All you folks in the western suburbs of Cleveland, you don't have to go as far as Parma....just head over to Rimi's in Westlake.

This place is great! Come here for CHEAP bulk spices, produce, yogurt, paneer and sauces. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They always take time to answer any questions, they make great suggestions of new things to try and how explain how to prepare the food. The baked goods are also ridiculously awesome. Try the dohkla (steamed bread made of chickpea flour, topped with chili's) and the malai barfi (kind of like a condensed cheesecake).

Good collection of ethnic grocery. Nice people who own the business. They have gone out of their way to get stuff for us if they don't have it in stock. Best part is their sweets collection. They also have a cool feature of cash back which I haven't seen with other grocers. All in all awesome.
