Ricky's English Pub

My first time there and was not disappointed. The food was awesome. I had French Onion soup to start with then had the Guinness Fish and Chips which was an Icelandic Cod. I finished it off with a slice of pumpkin pie. Linda was super friendly and efficient waitress. The decor of the place was amazing and I included some pics of the inside.

Six of us met for dinner and had a great time. Service was excellent and the food was very good. As a plus, they had a beer special that was unbelievable.I would go back anytime I'm in Salem.

We were passing through and stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. Classy ambiance with white tablecloths and napkins, tasteful decorations and real wood dining table chairs. I had the baked cod, asparagus, salad and everything was very good. Taylor was our server and she was super. The staff worked together nicely. The crème brûlée was as good as I've had. This is a surprise spot in a small town.

I got the fish sandwich and substituted the FF for a Caesar salad. The fish was so delicious and the Caesar salad was a nice size salad and it was very fresh. My meal was under $14. Definitely recommend it. Waitress was very good and on top off it during the whole meal. It has a British atmosphere with English decor throughout the restaurant. If in Salem give it a try.

The corn beef sandwich was absolutely delicious. The stuffed mushrooms with clams were very good. The lobster bisque I wasn't too impressed with. The bartender made me an Irish coffee with Jameson's whiskey was very good. The decor of the restaurant is very good. The restroom was very clean. The staff were very helpful.

If you like greasy foods this is the place for you. Waitress was rude, short tempered and rushed us to "make up your mind, make up your mind." I don't go to fast food joints to be insulted. Forget this place.

Food was amazing! Stopped on a Saturday evening after a local soccer game.. party of 6 and everyone enjoyed! The fish and chips was amazing!

The food was very good and the service was great. The ambiance is a little bit tired and old-fashioned. The furniture needs to be updated. The menu could probably use some updating as well, but we had the steaks and they were good.

Wasn't able to get a chance to try their food as the hours posted online were not correct and we walked in and glanced at hours posted. Walked in to see and was not greeted at all and when finally caught eye contact of the server I had to ask and tell her the hours posted online. Are wrong. Just horrible vibes and it's a very small restaurant, older crowd.

Once again Ricky's food was great. Had mushrooms with crab on for an appetizer. I could have doubled it and it could have been my meal. They were great. Love the English Pub and love Ricky. I see he hired more staff. I do not know them personally but they were very nice and on top of their game. The atmosphere of Ricky's is what you would expect from the name. Decorated in an English theme and nicely done. Some restaurants go a little over on decoration but Rick has kept it to a minimum. No loud music or loud sports on tv making it easy to converse with each other. Go and tell him I sent you!
