I always want to see a local business succeed, but the prices at this place are outrageous. Ordered a hamburger, fries, and a shake - almost $20. I wouldn't mind if the portions were big, but the $5 order of fries (they only have one size and price) was the size of a regular McDonald's fry and the $7 shake (yes, you read that right) was the size of a regular... maybe even smaller McDonald's shake.

Ordered takeout from here for the family. There are 3 of us about $60 total. We each got a burger, and fries. The wife and the boy got milkshakes. I wanted to try the Hot Dog... cause I'm a sucker for a great hot dog. Burgers were great order with any topping that you like. The burger was cooked well, the toppings were fresh. I love to put all the veggies on my burger allows me to think I can skip the salad course. No judging. Same with the fries, they came home crispy and topped with everything we wanted. I also loved the hot dog. All beef and all delicious. Oddly enough, I would get that hotdog again, maybe over the burger. It was that good.

Tasty smash burger for $11. Just the way it should be. Will definitely go back when in the mood for a burger.

Very similar to Shake Shack.. however.. better retro sauce than Shake Shack Sauce. And the bacon is far superior. Another BIG difference is the service. Top notch. Retro and its sibling next door Pizza DiLauro.. huge assets to the Bainbridge area.

$11 smash burger was bland and small for the price. You can't really taste the meat. $5 for a side of fries that were undercooked and also very bland. $30 lunch if you add a drink. You can get a much better burger for the half the price in the same plaza.

A take-out spot with great burgers and loaded fries, Retro Burger is a welcome surprise. The menu is short and sweet; pick your burger and load it up with toppings. Things can get pretty sloppy, but the flavors are fantastic and strike a nice balance between backyard burger and guilty pleasure restaurant fare. Note that this is not a sit-down establishment. It is a rather spartan, unassuming counter with friendly staff and quick service. My suggestion for this place is for them to consider adding a few specific specialty burgers to the list, as picking your own toppings can feel a little hit or miss. This is the age of chefs showing us what they've got with cool specific creations. And lean into the "retro" vibes a bit more with some 80s video game vibes and maybe an arcade cabinet of Donkey Kong or Ms. Pac-Man.

Delicious!! All it needs is better milkshakes and some grilled/carmelized onion option as a topping for burgers and if would be 5/5 perfection

Amazing burger from a locally sourced farm. You can tell they put a lot of thought into to all of the ingredient's. No surprise as it's the same owner as DiLauro's pizza (which is amazing in its own right). The fries were great as well. Perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. Try this place when you're in the mood for a great burger.
