Red Shamrock

I wasn't wild about Red Shamrock when we went right after they opened in their new location. We decided to give it another try tonight and were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is fairly quiet, with Irish music in the background so that you can actually sit and talk to your friends. The food was delicious - I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans and it was yummy. Friends had the Irish stew and said it was very good too. The onion rings were hot and crisp and perfect. And I love that they serve Irish beer! Our server was great. We will definitely be going back again.

OMG, what a treat this place was. Wish I had taken pictures of our food. We shared the Blackberry Salmon Salad, fried green tomatoes and Irish egg rolls. So delicious and pricing was good. The service was superb and ambiance is so inviting. I live in San Diego and here visiting my family; so glad we chose this place. I hope to go back again before I head home. I highly recommend it!!!

We stopped in for lunch and both ordered a burger after getting egg rolls for an appetizer. Food was absolutely delicious, service was awesome, everyone was very friendly. We will definitely stop in again!

Local business with an eager attempt to please and your your belly. Service was prompt and friendly. You order from the window and wait while your order is prepared. We sampled several of the Irish pub fare items. The food all seemed hand prepared and was an interesting assortment of flavors. All in all a solid showing. The Irish egg rolls are very popular. They are good. I prefer Reuben rolls but these were with a try. The thousand island was good. The bbq brisket on brioche was presented well. The bun was slightly over cooked. The flavor combo was not fully my jam. The onion rings were freshly hand breaded and deep fried. Very very good. My favorite was the tommy something or another. Corned beef. Jalapeños. Sauerkraut. Really really good. Stop by. You will walk away full.

I have to admit that I haven't eaten here, but I never will either. I have followed them for a month after moving here and was on my list. But, the owners snarky and rude remarks to customers on Facebook and replying to questions with an attitude have made me decide not to. I guess don't ask them questions, don't question pricing, or give them warranted suggestions because if you do be warned. Don't believe me, look at their own Facebook page.

The food was great as well as the atmosphere. The service was excellent. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back.

Food is the best in town, the service is spectacular and it feels like I'm with my friends when I'm eating here. This is my first time here and I will definitely be back. You can't beat this food in Norwalk.
