Rainbow Bakery

Rainbow keeps showing up in my Doordash as a nearby restaurant and I had no idea what it was nor do I have much experience with Puerto Rican foods. Today, I finally decided to try it and WOW! I wanted to try some different items as I don't know what they are so I ordered one of each of the pastelillos, pizza empanada, potato ball, the rice, beans and beef stew, and the arroz con dulce. Everything was incredible. The potato ball was massive and delicious. The pizza empanada had amazing flavor. But the arroz con dulce... omg I could literally live on this stuff; it's like candy. INCREDIBLE!!! I don't go to Lorain much but I just found a new Doordash favorite. So worth the try and I will be ordering again! Thank you!

If you are looking for fantastic, Puerto Rican, food, look no further. If you don't live in Lorain, it is worth the drive.

Rainbow Bakery is a nice Spanish foods market. They have a vast inventory of Spanish food products to make your favorite Spanish dish. They serve freshly made assortment of hot foods.. best at lunch time. They sell freshly made breads! #SatisfiedCustomer

I haven't been here since I was a child. Coming here today and seeing how their famous (PASTELILLOS) are still made the exact same way as it was years ago really brought a smile to my face and tummy. If only I could find how to make this a replica so simple but yet soo tasty.

I had enjoyable potato balls that were generous in portion. I loved the rice plate too. Excited to try more from Rainbow Bakery!

So, I had never gotten a pastalito before (forgive me if I spelled that wrong), but these things are AMAZING! It's an entire meal fried into one delicious pastry thing. I will be getting these things a ton in the future! Oh...and Rainbow Bakery has a great friendly atmosphere as well....great job there guys!

Back in 1994 I went to Summer School at Lorain High. I would frequent this place. it's a diamond in the ruff. Everything is Fresh, Hot, and delish. I have been to Puerto Rico a few times and know my "Rican Food" and this is it baby!Rice and beans some Alcapurrias, and fresh bread. Si Amigo Rainbow Bakery saved my life, well picture a blonde girl in a plaid skirt w/ penny loafers. Yep that be me, I was perceived as being square. Let's just say I had no fighting skills, brass knuckles or razor blades in my coach bag. But I did have a car and a pocket full of cash. This is when I met Miss Kiesha. Now let me tell you about my new found friend. Our Math teacher Mr. Doinker was terrified of her. The whole School was in check when Ki Ki walked in. Girl was like a dude. Anywho to get to my point I would give Kiesha a ride home from time to time and buy her lunch here. Let's just say I was a made girl. Never had any issues I just had to keep my girl's belly full once in awhile Bueno

if i could give zero stars i would i went in to get some food and everyone was very rude and i'm guessing it's because i'm white i was the only white person in there and everyone else was treated like a normal i will not be returning to this racist business

If you want the best Puerto Rican food, this is it. Just visited Lorain and stopped by to get rice, miso go, pastellios and fried pork. Never a disappointment, never got anything from the bakery part but I saw a pastry I wanted to try, oblong with cream inside, pastry sweet and flaky!! Delicious. Large portions, we had it for two days and still had leftovers. Not in the best neighborhood but don't let that deter you, never a problem, always crowded and the people working are always friendly and helpful.

The bad first: there were Flies inside pastry case!!. The hot food case was Half empty. The good: Fast and friendly service. wide selection of pop.
