Quimby's Restaurant & Bar by Forest View

Driven by Quimby's for years but never tried the place. Girlfriend and I discovered they host trivia weekly so we decided to check it out. Amazingly attentive staff and a cool bar setting. Food was really delicious with a great variety. Id give them five stars but they don't sauce their boneless wings and it really detracted from the food. Sauce on the side isn't it. Besides that it's all 10's.

Really? $1.50 add-on for cheese on the burger? Seems to be pricy for what it is. First (and last) time to patronize. No drink pricing posted anywhere. $8.50-10.00 for a draft beer. Don't expect good fries as "hand cut"

So I gave this place another try in person because it's so close to where I live and I've enjoyed meals here in the past. The ambiance is pleasant but nothing special. Lighting in the booths was brighter than I'd prefer. Nevertheless we were glad to have a booth. It was roughly 6:30pm on a Saturday night and pretty crowded. It was mostly empty by 7:45pm when the live band started (flyers said it would start at 7pm though honestly no worries). We ordered drinks and they were out of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay so went with the other option, which was okay, but really below okay the more sips taken. The owner came by and said he'd see if he could find some KJ Chardonnay, but never followed up with me and felt like disingenuous talk. My friend said this was pretty typical- that he would promise but not follow through. Saw him chatting at other tables and it was clear that my request wasn't important in the scheme of everything. I barely tolerated the no brand Chardonnay and didn't order another glass. Was honestly most disappointed by the owner's lack of follow through. He could have at least told me they were indeed out of KJ Chardonnay and apologized. As for food, I ordered the Turkey Reuben with the special fries, which cost $1.99 more... sadly not worth it. I ate a few fries and let my friend have whatever she wanted. I liked that the fries were thicker but they were greasy and overcooked. The Turkey Reuben was okay but nothing to rave about. The time spent with my friend was the highlight, but nothing else to speak highly about food-wise. It was okay and not great.No problem with the service; she was very sweet and responsive. I could live without ever returning here, but since it's so close to home I'm rooting for them to get their act together! I love to support our local restaurants, but need something to support. Disappointing experience.

Service with Brittany always great. Salmon perfect And husband chicken Alfredo great.

They turned this place from a restaurant to a wannabe sports bar. Menu keeps getting worse and the prices keep going up. Now instead of spinach artichoke dip with pita bread we got tortilla chips. What just happened. Used to have that nice locals feeling. Those days are gone

The staff was very friendly and did a great job, however, the food left much to be desired. We went here feeling pretty hungry, and my niece was still hungry when we left because she couldn't eat half of her order and even sent it back. I ate my food, but I've had MUCH better. Probably won't go back.

Food is good but service has been a struggle the last few times I was here. Actually walked out once. Hope they fix that because the place is cute, cozy, and deserves its spot in Lambertville.

very disappoinoted. Chris Shutters was scheduled to perform. he did not perform. a replacement was in place --no announcement. this was disappointing.food was adequate.

Enjoyed a delicious cranberry pecan salad and my buddy had a sandwich and fries -- he said his was very good and hot. Our server Jen was very professional, friendly and checked in on us appropriately. Our food wait time was short.Strongly recommend Quimby's! Good atmosphere
